Interesting but to be honest it's useless because all these engines are 100% NA and it looks like that these tests were made outdoors (no dyno test). Therefore tires are implied in performance, temperature too (some tests were probably made at nighttime). I drive a NB 1.8L, semi slick A052 tires on, and I assure you that last month when services were done (new plugs, new oil and so on), and temperatures were low (5-10 °C), it drove much swifter than usual.

In fact, there was also a 2003 Swift Sport with a 1.5 l producing 113 hp. Outside Japan, it was called the Ignis Sport and made 109 hp if I'm correct. 0-100 was about 8.9 seconds. But besides that, cool video! Didn't even know about those fancy JDM only models.

When speaking of perfomance, Peugeot did some pretty neat GTIs. If I were to choose one amongst them, I'd be the 205 GTI 1.9. Bear in mind that is this my own opinion, but I honestly think the 80s and early 90s was when Peugeot's cars design reached its peak. But then, when the 206 came out, it felt like Peugeot was really starting to loose its edge in terms of design. Sure, the 206 is a great car when speaking performance, but it just looks awful imo, and it's getting worse and worse as time goes on, especially now since they're all making plasti-dipped SUVs with underpowered engines.

I honestly hoped the last models of Civics to reach 8k rpm like the older models instead of 7k. Sure, they're not bad, but the older ones are better. When I saw they could reach 9k, I really think that's their real limit, but when I saw the newer models stopping at 8k, I felt like they go beyond but they were nerfed by factory.
