Vr hot take. Vr was better before the quest 2 and gorilla tag existed.

The quest 3 i would put it in s tier because it has better lenses and better hand tracking and better graphics and over all its worth the 500$

Make the standalone set that doesn’t need the PC and consoles. That’s what the people want.

With people just talking to each other in VR.. It sounds like we need an Everquest of VR. Morrowind in VR has been great.

Love them or hate them, if it wasn't for Meta, VR would be basically dead already. They provide VR headsets at a low markup with the ability to play both PCVR and standalone.

Quest 3 deserves s teir

Playstation has vr but you need a PS5 to run the current model headset. Valve is about to release new models. Meta Has made so much money mainly because they've been able to make it easier for people to get into VR. And PSVR is so much better. Nobody gets it because it's so expensive.

The problem with Facebook (meta) is that they are 'good'≈ with social media, not with games or gaming, they have fired the lead Oculus developers one of which has worked at Id software back in quacke times. They have been trying effortlessly to shove in their oasis vr or whatever its called, instead of focusing on the really important stuff. I just hope that valve, pico or HTC will finally beat them up, because this is bad. Valve knows a lot about gaming, infact before oculus were bought by Facebook they were working with valve. Valve has realesed the steam deck which is the ultimate gaming device at a good price. Facebook closes any online game when they want without any issues which is just stupid.

My most played games are Noita and the binding of isaac. I don't have a vr game i want to spend thousands of hours in yet. The closest for replayability for me is beatsaber. I own almost 300 vr games on pc and i absolutely love a lot of them but for some reason after i spend 5, 10, 20 hours i'm done and i go back to noita. Headset wise it feels like for me the oculus and meta headsets have been the best option but i will probably spend the money to get the samsung moohan or the lalve deckard i'm not sure yet.
