I'm going to have to read this book lol

since winter is coming and its getting dark im really beginning to bedrot again and i can scroll on my phone for HOURS and i always feel so bad afterwards(we have an ad on the tv that legit says 'youre wasting 15 years of your life scrolling' and it fucks with my brain so much), but i never have the energy to really do anything.. started this vid in my bed not realising it was almost an hour and now im almost done with it and i have painted three pages in my sketchbook for the first time in four months.. your voice is soooooo nice to just listen to and i really enjoyed watching lol<3

I struggled with going on my phone but it's like an app blocker that makes you wait like 20 seconds before you can unblock so you have a second to be like ' aw nah actually i'll do something else', and the more you go on your phone the longer you have to wait to unblock - also it gives you screen reports every week and it's a real eye opener for how much time you'll spend scrolling in your life. Rly recommend!

I recently decided to put ALL of my projects away into storage under my bed, which is a nuisance to lift the mattress thing. And only allowed myself two projects at a time (one garment, one amigurumi). I usually finish one project a month if I’m lucky. I’ve just made 2 cardigans, a hat and a plushy in less than a month 😅

OMG so I recently started One Dark Window, and the hype is real 🙊 it’s giving me major ACOTAR vibes in some ways and I’m hooked (enjoying it way more than the Poppy War oops)

Love this! I was the same way with TikTok and I started listening to audiobooks while I knit and its been a gamechanger. I know audiobooks aren't the same but I feel so much more productive!

its so easy to spend all day on tiktok, thats why i literally only allow myself to go on there every month or so, its too dangerous. its not that hard to stop though bc i wait so long in between that it kinda breaks the habit lol. 😭
