Got a kindle today for $1 at a yard sale and thought it was broken because it would not hold a charge. Once i connected it, it started to charge and i thought i had seen it in a video somewhere. I finally found the video and it had a really old version of fire os so i backed it up and installed this mod. Now i can say i have a $1 android tablet! Works GREAT!

after modifying bootcamp info.plist, it falls to open i get an error, anyone know how to fix it?

Thanks got a used kindle with cyanogenmod on it and nothing worked. Your solution restored it back to an original Kindle Fire! Mine was a 1st Gen Kindle.

When creating the bootable thumbdrive, everytime I get the message that there isn't enough space on the drive. I even went up to a 128Gb drive, still get the same message/error!

We might be able to download the Windows 10 ISO, but where do we get our product key from? That is never explained in these videos.

This actually worked, even in 2024. I was surprised that TWRP saw it as a flashable ZIP file and proceeded to flash it without no issues. Thank you for this video, man!

I did everything correct. But when I try to boot after bootcamp does its partition it gives me no boot message. I tried the hitting alt to see if it appears next to Mac partition but it doesn’t appear…. I’m rreeealllly confused about what I need to do.
