Subaru Front Wheel Bearing Replacement
Replacing the Front Wheel Bearing assembly on my 2020 Subaru WRX STi. Pretty similar to almost every Subaru. Part number for the whole assembly is VKBA6896, VKBA7495, 513302, 28373FG010.
The link to get it on Amazon is amzn.to/4cU52aZ. It says it doesn't fit the STi, but it does.

    The calculations are correct. But without measuring the real pressure, everything is just theory. I bought a manometer, measured and then calculated. And I convinced myself of the reality. In the technical book - 12 tons, real - 8 tons. You can see on my channel.

      @@ScienceMonkey00 most airless sprayers range from 2800 to over 3000 psi. If you're holding on to the hose and there's too much pressure, you run the risk of highly pressurized paint blasting a hole right in your hand. A guy on my crew had his entire hand filled with paint. Only took a second to happen. They had to fillet his hands all over to remove the paint. So that's why you always wear leather gloves when using an airless. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. There are tons of videos on UA-cam showing people the wrong and unprofessional way of painting

    Same model as mine. If you look closely at the bottom hinge, you will see it probably bent from door weight and gallon jugs. I fixed mine the same way you did but it bent further so I replaced the hinge with a 90 degree 1/4'" steel angle and cut it to fit and drilled necessary holes in angle piece. 5 years later never had recurring problem.

    installing new sliding doors is always good, but I want to share with you my experience, I live in Orlando Florida, I contacted the Masterslide company with the problem of my sliding doors (if you ask, I will share the contacts) they replaced the rollers, installed a track cover and a new handle with a lock. Now my door is like new and I'm as happy as a child! And most importantly, I thought that I saved more than two thousand dollars! Just because repairs are cheaper!))) so think before ordering new ones. This is not advertising, this is my case.

    • @fixyourautomobile
      @fixyourautomobile 2 місяці тому

      You'll find the Evo rotor is dimensionally the same as the Mustang GT 14" rotor but has a less aggressive rotor offset. It sits closer to the hub center and gave me enough space to slide the 18Z caliper down in between rotor and spindle. I have to machine a massive amount of material out of the spindle, but I use very thick steel bushings to take up the space and allow the M16x1.5 custom length bolts to all line up. (Life hack: Evo X front rotors on rockauto are stupidly cheap for their size and amount of material. The more you spend the lighter the rotors will be once you go into the aluminum hat category. Otherwise they'll be heavy boi's)
