Mixed Modeling with Onshape P2

  • Here we 3D model a shoe with based off an imported stl. Its called Mixed Modeling, or at least thats what I call it. In this episode we use the loft feature with composite curves, and projected curves. This is used in my PLTW (Project Lead the Way) PoE (Principles of Engineering) course.

    Is there any way of making a negative mold of the foot in a solid by subtracting it from a new part using boolean? Or alternatively converting the foot to a solid structure that we can extrude through directly?

      @@andrewklug4845 that’s a good question, and I would think so, just haven’t tried yet. Then you could make molds from imported files which is pretty cool. I’ll look into it.
