Sadly he has cancelled his UK tour and international concerts for good due to ill health. A huge fan , I first saw him in 1981 , and every UK tour since . We wish him well , and will miss his presence in our life . ❤️‍🩹

Legendary Status. First Class

Randomly went to a jazz club in Harlem in 1997. In between some other sets, George just jumped on stage and started playing and singing. The place went bananas. Then he just hopped off and went back to his table and watched the next musicians. I still can hardly believe my luck. 🏆
