I like 3 inch wide knobby tires

I can longer walk my dog in the morning in my neighborhood simply because of the clowns on their EBikes and Scooters that ride on the sidewalks. If they have an engine or motor they belong on the road.

The bike trails were bought four years ago. We never envisioned hordes of mopeds riding there. The entire purpose is to escape from motor vehicles. The nerds on them say they're only bicycles. I almost never see anyone pedaling at all and when I do it's barely moving, faking it at shore slow cadence. Why shouldn't there be some registrations? That could prove they're actually class one at least. Some of the bikes on cycle paths have bigger tires than my Harley. Should I ride that on the bicycle path? I'll only go 20 mph-I promise. Bottom line, the higher power e-bikes that are out and the people on them that ride them improperly have ruined it for the class ones. It's too hard to identify the variances between each one. I'm comfortable on the street with a normal bicycle, they can try it too--sissys.

I live in Ca. What happens is they restrict, bann, regulate, fine, fee & permit you to death! Soon you will need a permit & a safety corse to operate a ebike! (creating revenue) You will get tickets because there's gunna be all kinds of places you'll be prohibited to ride them! Just like PCP air guns, their pellet guns powered by compressed air except, at 5000psi sending a 45cal slug you can kill a deer. Same with a ebike at 20-30-40mph a person is easily hurt or killed. Society is regulating common sense right out of people! The old lady should have had a helmet on & the kid should have been more careful & possibly more respectful & considerate.

Nope. The constitution is a life long protection. Unless your ebike or scooter is commercial they have no jurisdiction over you. Period

It really would be awful if we had to register and get insurance for ebikes. I agree with you, only UNDEFINED ebikes should require registration and/or insurance. You know how governments/politicians are, any chance to get their hands on more money, they'll jump at it. If any such bills come before my state legislature, I will let them know how I feel and tell them: "no registration and no insurance for ebikes classes 1,2, or 3. Hell, I was even against requiring helmets for bike riders. If someone wants to be that stupid, let them. It'll help improve the gene pool.

Blaine, we can't stick our heads in the sand and say that 15 million illegal people coming into the country is not affecting us, or that selling our reserve petroleum to China and then buying petroleum from Venezuela at a higher price, etc, or banning ebikes in Florida. But that does not mean we have to hate each other. It seems to me that much of the hate is pushed on us from the media! What I'm saying is that policies do matter and do affect us one way or another.

What size is the frame

You can own a few AR-15's no problem, but an ebike is dangerous! I have now seen everything. 😂🙄

They want you to register, so they can text you, know what you're riding, and know where you're located at all times. It's all about control.

If you're in a Red State you're out of luck, they will ban anything electric to "own the libs" unfortunately, teachers, doctors, and scientists are also abandoning Red States that choose ignorance over science! Move to a Blue State where your freedoms are protected. Unless of course you are a business wanting to pollute our air and water, they are regulated because they have proven they cannot be trusted.

😂 I used to ride my 10 speed by sitting up straight & peddling for the same reason as my back would hurt. 10 speeds back then were set up very aggressively with high saddles & very low drop bars.

Yikes! I live in Australia and not heard anything like this here, thank goodness. But as a mid-60s female who rides an e-bike, I would not like them banned based on accidents (even serious ones) like this one.

As I understood it some time ago Federal law on e bikes prohibits legislation on e-bikes that all bikes are not subject to. All the idiots that voted for the crime and the city attorney must be held accountable for their abuse of power

I reside in Venice Florida. Whe have the legacy trail here. It’s wonderful. Old railway from the ringling brothers Barnum and Bayley circus. And in Tampa we have the Pinnelas trail. Excellent riding

Great job, Michelle! Last November we went there for the 2nd time, the visitor center was still under construction. We always enjoyed the trail , the bridge and the valley, but were too late for the foliage. By the way, I am looking forward to your video on the new "spiral bridge" on Crabtree Creek Greenway West Trail! It's amazing!

It truly is a great feeling to conquer your fears, well done I love the roads and trails you have in your area, where I live we have a lot of roads and angry drives. if they miss you going at 50 mph consider yourself lucky. can't figure out what they have against e-bike riders in New York?????
