Thanks for stopping by my channel! I have logged over 4,500 hours playing Fallout 4 - primarily building settlements with mods. However, I am trying something new by building without mods and creating No Mod/No Glitch building tutorials and settlement tours. I also have posted some of my Sim Settlements 2 City Plan builds and Fallout 4 Transfer Settlement blueprints that are available on Nexus Mods.

general, your fired! cryingcube is now our settlement builder... i wont mark it on your map! altho i will mark the employment agency in diamond city for you! 😂😂 now this gives me reason to fix up kingsport! i usually just clear the junk and block the doors! 😂😂
Sorry I’m late. Another great well thought out build. If you’re looking for a side job or new location Home Plate is killing me. Looking for cool ides for player home. Keep up the great videos. ❤
Thank you and no worries - not too late at all. I always appreciate comments and feedback. Home plate has crossed my mind but it is so difficult because so many of the build items aren't available for this location. It is on my list but I need to put more thought to this location to come up with something creative.
Hi, can you please show us your product where you've placed everything inside the apartments
Sure - I did a full tour of the Starlight Drive-in. The decorated tour of inside of the apartments can be found starting at 17:31. Here is link to the video: ua-cam.com/video/aDzeIShlaqQ/v-deo.html In the future, I might put together a video that is just a tour of the Starlight Apartments to make it easier to find.
o m g! 😱😵💫 that is awesome! i think thats my next project! 😂 ive always wondered how to do that and tbh never tried as i thought it wouldnt work... im glad you proved me wrong! you could have added a floor above the roof and all round for security (although that would ruin the feel i think!) either way, excellent! 😁 also im now a fan of scaffolding as i rarely ever use it!
Thank you! I hope that you will give it a try! I really like your idea of adding another floor - not sure if there is a way to line it up with the balcony on top but that would make an excellent security post! Glad that the video has inspired you for your Starlight build ☺️
Damn, this looks amazing!, I have been working on Starlight and this is exactly what I was looking to do!!
Thanks! Glad it inspired you on your Starlight build!
Thanks for the vid, I will definitely use your method. ❤
You’re welcome😊 Hope it helps you on your Coastal Cottage build!
A master class in building, so cool, thanks. Yup I’m gonna copy.😊
Thank you! I hope that you will give it a try!
OK, this channel already became my favourite! You're the best! Very creative.
Thank you! I really appreciate your comments and support ☺️
Wow. What a wonderful idea to build on the backside. I never thought of it. Congrats. I was able to replicate your method to the letter, except for a few aesthetic changes to customize my new apartments. Thanks for the inspiration!
Thank you! It took me countless failures trying to do something similar on the other side before I got the idea to build on the back side. I'm glad that you gave it a try and happy that you customized it to your liking. One tip that I discovered after I built this - if you used the scaffolding stairs and your settlers won't use them - swap them out for the long shack stairs (the one without the platform attached). They should use those stairs.
This is awesome, great channel and vid!
Thank you! I appreciate your feedback!
Wow. Rug-glitched roofs I assume. It reminds me that I wish they had included an inside-corner roof part.
This one is one of my old modded builds that I made into a blueprint that can be transferred into the settlement (on PC only). Primarily it was built using the Place Everywhere mod. To make the roofs, I used Place Everywhere to enlarge the Barn roof tiles and trim pieces 200X. Place Everywhere then allows you to place them literally anywhere you want (no collision problems!) and it also allows you to precision move the objects so that I could line up the tiles pretty well on the houses. I could also use it to easily place walls and windows on the houses (I think I had to custom enlarge or shrink the warehouse greenhouse windows). Another mod that I had that was extremely helpful was Workshop Plus that (among other things) allows you to fly around while you are building. With this, I could build from above the houses and used this to place and line up the roofs.
Very nice. I play on the PC, so I used console commands to "setangle z" the concrete floors to 9, 72, and 144 degrees.
Thanks! Good idea - that is much easier! For the videos, I try to find a way to that everyone (on PC, Xbox or PlayStation) can build.
Nice! Im terrible building things but this video helped me a lot
Thank you! Good to hear - hope you will give it a try!
Oh dear god, thank you. I hate trying to patch this location and the Visitor's Center. Echo Lake Lumber looks like it would be rough, but its easier than these two. I often end up just building a new structure near the pier and calling the house a loss. Again, thanks. I make things hard on myself by playing on survival & doing settlement building. No fast travel or quick saves, so I usually have to drop a bed nearby and use that to correct mistakes. It isn't that I'm a masochist who enjoys doing it the hard way. That's just the setting which is most enjoyable for me to play.
You’re welcome and thank you for your comment. Glad that this gives you ideas for this settlement. Since you are playing on survival mode - if you do try this build - make sure that you block off the gap between the floor and the open roof on the third floor (in the video at 7:07). If you fall through, you will be stuck inside the rafters and would have to load a previous save. I fell through a few times when I was putting this build together and found that there wasn’t a way to get out.
@@cryingcube2 Thanks for the heads up. I've been Bethesda'd to death a few times, stuck between rocks in the Glowing Sea or Far Harbor, or slammed into a Pick-R-Up truck with enough force to zero out the health bar. Its frustrating & rage-quit inducing the first few times, but you learn to laugh it off as the price of admission.
@@cryingcube2 I'll add one thing in case someone reads this who also builds in survival mode. Save two pieces of acrobat legwear & slap ultra-light mods on them so you can fall without damage or build in power armor. A jetpack attachment helps.
You're welcome. That is very frustrating - but good to hear that you have somehow figured out how to put a positive spin on it!
Thanks also for posting survival tips for preventing fall damage - Acrobat armor is a good idea for me in any mode since I seem to fall off of virtually everything!
Glad I got recommended this video, definitely some good information and inspiration
@@ThatColoradoKid Thank you! Hope you can use a few ideas in your next build!
Waiting for Hangman's alley build.

Omg the back of the screen!!! I feel like an idiot for trying so hard to do the front lol

Barn floor are a mod play vanilla game has none of this stuff
The barn floors are from the Far Harbor DLC. I listed the DLCs that I used in the description but overlooked stating it in the video. Sorry for the confusion.
I'm new to the game and I love the instructional format of this video. Also love the no glitch or mod since I try not to do either (i like my game's stability). Thank you for this!
Thank you and you’re welcome! I’m glad that the videos are helpful to you!
Good explanation, Now subscribed
Welcome and thank you!
i redownloaded fallout after not touching it for like 5 years just to build some settlements. the first one i went to work on was this one and just could not make anything to look good. this tutorial saved me from just immediately uninstalling so huge thanks
You’re welcome! I’m glad that the video helped you!
Nice use of otherwise wasted space. Looks good too. I liked your coastal cottage one too.
Thank you! Hope the videos give you ideas for your builds!
Perfect ceiling, and I love your decorative aesthetics. On the back and side deck, I deleted the nonfunctional lamp post and rug-glitched working gas lamp posts into the deck posts. Looked nice, I thought.
Thank you! I like your idea on the lamp posts! The working gas lamp posts are probably my favorite outdoor lighting - I’m sure it looks really nice!
This is the niche content I want youtube to recommend
Thank you! Appreciate the support!
Thanks

Nice
Thanks! Glad you are enjoying the videos!

Thank you!
@@Steve-H57 You’re welcome ☺️
You did a great job rebuilding. I've done something similar and found that I had to fill the hole as the settlers would get stuck under the house in the hole. I tried to use steps so they could escape but there ai was too dumb for the task.
Thank you! In the past I tried to use the hole under the house but found the same thing as you. It’s a unique feature and it makes sense to use it for something - but I never understood why Bethesda wouldn’t have designed it so that settlers can get both in and out of the hole.
You changed my life
Thank you! Glad the videos are helpful to you 😊😊
LMFAO.
looks nice but any beds underneath would still count as not being under cover
Thanks! The wood floors used as ceilings on the second floor do count as a covering for beds and beds can safely be placed on the second floor without reducing happiness. However, the mesh floors used to cover the guard station on the 3rd floor don't count as a covering for beds so beds could not be placed on this level without lowering the happiness. If you are on PC, you can check to see if any bed is covered or not by opening the console, click on the bed to select and then type getav 334. If a bed is uncovered, it will return a 0 and if it is covered, it will return a 1.
@@cryingcube2 Interesting. Thanks
You’re welcome ☺️
I've been playing since it came out and I've decided I have no imagination. Your work has added a great no mod home with windows and everything that makes it work so nicely. Thank you,
Thank you and you’re welcome! Glad that you like the cabins and hope that they inspire a build in one of your settlements!
thank you sooooo much. such a easy to follow and quick tutorial 🫶🏾
You’re welcome! I hope that you will give it a try!
Now that is a simple and elegant solution to a building that [ as usual made with different building scale and roof angle pitch] [ one of Bethesda's little jokes ] than you can use in the contraptions DLC as none of it matches but it does useing this method make use of the top floor very quickly without having to glitch in new roof and floor.
Thank you! I’ve really been enjoying finding ways to work around Bethesda’s little jokes! Glad you like the result!
Well done, but 4 sleeping spots? Where do you house the rest of your settlers?
You are right - the house doesn't have a lot of beds! For this settlement, I generally use the space to the right of the house (facing the house) and over the water to build more houses. The tour in the video was just a quick overview of the decorated house and only has 4 settlers.
@@cryingcube2 Makes sense, I was just curious,
@ No problem - thanks for the question😊
These are all so simple and look fantastic. I'm impressed!
Thank you! They are pretty quick to build as well. An easy way to provide simple housing when starting to build in a settlement.
Absolutely fascinated with this settlement. Good job!
@@woffydoggy686 Thank you! It has become one of my favorite settlements!
May seem a silly question but how did you remove the Brahmin corpse?
Thanks for the question - which is a very good question (not silly at all) - however I really don't know the answer! I cleared Taffington a long time ago and completely forgot about the Brahmin. I will have to go back into my old file saves to see if I can figure this out!
I’m a bit confused @cryingcube2 your title says no mods, but at 6:42 there are title sets I have not seen on foundations. Are these Fromm creation club?
Yes - they are from the creation club. I own most of the creations that either gave me more building pieces or player homes. Unfortunately, a lot of the creation club items show up at the beginning of the build menus which means a lot of scrolling to get to the vanilla (and DLC) tiles.
ive been wanting to make a build like this for a long while, pog video
Thank you! Hope you will give it a try!
@@cryingcube2 absolutely will
and remember, hit ~ to open console and modpos commands to line things up properly.
Yes - that is an effective way to position things without mods. I don't use console commands in the no mods no glitch series so that is Xbox and Playstation friendly.
not long picked fallout 4 back up again, these build videos are really helpful, used you tips around the castle and will certainly be making some of these
