Installing hood hinges on the WetJet
I figured it was past due for another upgrade. So I added OEM hood hinges off a later model. Very nice feature and convenient compared to having to take off the entire hood to do any sort of maintenance. I also did some much needed TLC later in the video by replacing the handle grips and rear jet shield. Hope you all enjoy.

I'd kill myself on a bike with the front bake on the left, much the same as using your clutch foot on the brakes when driving a manual (stick shift) car, you'd press way too hard as you're used to pressing the clutch to the floor ;) Loving the project, can't wait to see it finished 🙌 😀

Depending on your situation. Do you have power at all? Like dash lights or anything. Does the starter turn over? If so it’s an engine problem. Yes just cut the wire on your current brake light. Splice the donor bulb socket and twist the two wires together. There are 3 wires be sure you do this to all of them, they should also be color matched. I used 18-22 gauge wire connector with built in heat shtick that I purchase at my local Advanced Auto.
