And if you’re trying to cancel a cycle, you wait until the dishwasher is actually running then you hold the stop button for three seconds saying one Mississippi to Mississippi three Mississippi and it’ll shut off completely in the water will drain out

Manger installed a new hot point one button dish washer It s the worse dish washing unit It said to hold down start button for 3 second and it will change the difference cycle WHAT CYCLE s !!!! I can t even get it started or to work the rubber seal around the door is already coming off it a pain and I m starting to get piss !! I pay way to much rent to have it not working and I ll be damn is I m going to come home from work to do dishes by hand like I said I just about to call cause this has been going on at least a month and tell the manager that they get their rent when they replaced it Total B S

My maintenance guy just installed this and it has been running for 3 hours with hot water that I have to pay for and the dry cycle never came on. I ripped my landlord a new one using 3 hours worth of hot water wth and the electric bill for this place is $187 in my first month…. It’s crap and most likely won’t be using it

The machine even contradicts itself 100% cause in the circle it says Hold 3 seconds to change cycle… right below that it says Hold 3 seconds to cancel cycle. What the literal f*ck??

Are getting so stupid we need all these dumb 1 button things? Cause it just makes everything harder, I can’t tell if my stuff is done or drying, I cleaned stuff 2 hours ago and they dishes are hot and clean but still soaked and waters everywhere.

This is the most pain in the butt appliance I have ever owned.

Maintenance put mine in and it won’t run the water. Machine will start and the light will blink, but it won’t run the water.

This dishwasher is a piece of shit 😅, it literally will only work on the heavy cycle and it doesn’t dry the dishes worth a dam.

My landlord installed this dishwasher for us. First time trying to run it and I can tell it's trying to start but it doesn't. It blinks this blueish green light instead. I can't find answers.

Ok so from researching a little, this dishwasher only has 2 cycles, regular and the heavy cycle. I miss my old dishwasher, we moved and ended up with this dishwasher. I dislike it so much. What I use to do is wash my dishes place them in the dishwasher and run the heat cycle, it would cut my waiting time for dish dry time, mostly if I had a lot of dishes to wash. This method helped so much.

I have this same dishwasher but I can’t seem to get it to turn on and stay on, we just got it installed yesterday but the realtor maintenance guy took the booklet with him instead of leaving it with us. We’re just renting the house.

Ours has a cycle selection and the start button, but I don’t know how to start it, I just got it installed yesterday and no one showed me how to operate it. We rent our house and the realtor maintenance guy took the owner’s booklet with him.

I’ve went through 2 of these dishwashers, but it won’t run a full cycle.

Just got one of these and the soap trap doesn't open when you hit any cycle. I've done the one touch normal and double for heavy. It starts and then sometimes blinks and there's no indicator of when your dishes are done. It just starts and goes and then stops after 5 minutes or less. Missing the old school dial option. This product should be relabeled Hotcrap.

Hi guys! I’m back. I figured the problem out. Another UA-cam video suggest I check to make the water was on to the dish washer. Yep, that was the problem. It also suggest to turn the power off on the breaker box first.

When I press the start button I hear it for 2 seconds then it stops and the stat button start flashing

The maintenance guy installed a new one button Hotpoint dishwasher but left no instructions on how to use it. I pushed the start button but nothing is happening. The door is locked and there are 2 green lights, one on Heavy cycle and the other on start button. My brand new dishwasher won't start What else do I need to do?

I am so very thankful for this video! My landlord installed this dishwasher and I have been having a very difficult time finding instructions on how to operate it. The operator manual on both websites that I downloaded shows a completely different operating panel. Even though the manual says it is for this model (HDF310PGRWW). I literally spent over 2 hours trying to figure out how to operate this simple one button machine because the operator manual did not match. So I came to youtube, typed in the model number, and your video popped up first and it is exactly what I needed to know. I should have come here first. UPDATE: okay, now that I have attempted my first run of the dishwasher, I have the same issue as the previous comment. When I push the button once, the heavy cycle light comes on and does not go off at all no matter how many times I push the button. So apparently I the machines only have one cycle which is heavy? 🤷🏻‍♀️

It looks like the quality really improved on HOTPOINT WASHERS.

I just got one today. Pretty sure I'll have some melted dishes. Hope not. I didnt need Heavy Cycle, that automatically where it's going. Still the best disherwasher I have ever had. Well see after this first cycle. On a test run, I can't figure out to get it off heavy duty. It doesnt even look like she pushed it twice.
