I have this same dishwasher but I can’t seem to get it to turn on and stay on, we just got it installed yesterday but the realtor maintenance guy took the booklet with him instead of leaving it with us. We’re just renting the house.

I only have a start button and can't get rid of the heavy duty setting.

We live in military housing on Yokota Air base and have HotPoint one button dishwasher and I can’t get the Heavy Cycle to work and I have pushed the Start button to activate the heavy cycle and the light doesn’t seem to come on

I just bought this exact model a few days ago and it’s not starting. For some reason I can’t find the manual. Any suggestions?

I just bought and installed this in a rental. Tested on Heavy-Duty setting, and dishes with dried-on egg came clean by the time I canceled the cycle after 2 hours. Manual states Heavy-Duty cycle runs fr 2.5 hours.
Were your indicator lights on the buttons lighting up? Check the breaker?
Very simple operation - select one of the three modes. Then hit the start button. Cancel wash by hitting & holding start button for 3 seconds.
But I suppose it's been fixed by now. Please tell what the problem was.
