Hi! I'm Rakeem and I create re-makes of my favorite Faulconer Productions tracks from the original FUNimation dub of "Dragon Ball Z along with songs I just love (in the same synth style of the DBZ tracks I love so much!) I started watching DBZ right at the start of the Majin Buu Saga in 2002 and two things stood out to me: the music and the super saiyan transformation! I thought the music was the best of any show I'd ever watched and that still stands today! But it wasn't until my mom bought me the tape "Perfect Cell: Perfection" and I heard the beginning of the track "Perfect Cell Runs" that I realized I wanted to make music of my own and even create re-makes of some of those awesome tracks one day! Now here I am, years later, doing exactly what I envisioned! It brings me more joy than I could ever fully express and I hope my re-makes bring joy and nostalgia to you all!
Dragon Ball Z: "Goku Powers Up (Ginyu Battle)" - Rakeem's Re-Make
"Man, oh man"! Well you guys know that the "Ginyu Force Theme" is one of my top 10 favorite tracks used in the show. You also know that it has many different variations all of which are unique to each other.
This specific version starts the action off in the original version of (Episode 70) "Frieza Approaches". It's used as Goku continues to charge up for Captain Ginyu. Episode 70, starting with the Remastered Orange Brick DVDs, no longer contains its original episode score so some of you may not have even heard this track before. The definitive version of this episode is on the Funimation Single DVDs and there is where you'll hear the original episode score in all its glory.
What's unique about this version of the "Ginyu Force Theme" is that it uses that wacky-cool guitar sound ("Goku Vs Ginyu"/"Vegeta Vs Jeice") from the Ginyu Saga as its main instrument. The original version of this track goes unreleased to this day but a good amount of rippers have tried to rip it.
This track was a lot of fun to create and re-make and I hope you all enjoy it!

This one is such a banger. Honest truth, I don't always love your work. Because I feel like I could just listen to the real thing instead. But some of your tracks add something magical to Faulconer's music that wasn't there before. It's like being back in the 2000s, experiencing them for the first time again. Something I never thought i would get to experience again. And I thank you for it
