I think the real MVP of this one is that processed Afterburner. It seemed extremely difficult to replicate but yet here it is EXACTLY how it sounded in 1998, brand new and twirling up new mixes overtop the original melody. Your ability really has come a long way. Also, the outro music is sexy 🔥
Honestly, for me, that's exactly what makes the track so great! That Afterburner! Thanks 'Cel, I'm always learning and trying to improve! That outro music will be released as soon as possible
I remember this track well. If only Funimation hadn't totally botched things up during the remastering process and butchered the music in episode 70... ugh! As for this specifically, this is an awesome remake, and I could easily imagine it in some DBZ game. I once heard that some of the older games used covers of Faulconer tracks for the North American releases... not sure how accurate that is, but if that actually did happen, this remake would fit perfectly during parts of the game that took place on Namek.
Legacy of Goku, Legacy of Goku 2, Buu’s Fury, and Taiketsu used arranged versions of Faulconer Productions (and occasionally Ron Wasserman and History of Trunks) tracks to varying degrees. The Trading Card Game used actual tracks, albeit in low scratchy GBA quality.
@@Joes_Z-Music Ah, ok, that's interesting. I didn't know that. I guess whenever I heard that some games used variations of North American tracks, I wasn't misinformed. I wasn't sure, though, because it'd been several years since I heard it in passing.
JEICE JEICE JEICE... WHEN WILL YOU EVER LEARN THAT YOU DON'T STAND A CHANCE AGAINST ME!?

This is phenomenal, Rakeem!!! I love it! It came out incredibly well, especially where you incorporated your own new elements to the track!
Thank you, Joe!!! The new elements are always the most fun parts! The chance to be creative.
