John Deere is absolutely horrible even though they have a bunch of dealers all over the United States. They’re absolute garbage. The CEO is also a sellout moving all of their production to Mexico. I will never buy any of their products ever again. Also, their dealer support in my area is absolute trash they could not figure out my charging system issue on my stander mower and then charge me $700 for nothing. They are also making it so farmers can’t work on their equipment. Absolutely crazy what they are doing.

I have PROYAMA brush cutter on Amazon. I was very skeptical at first due to the low price. Yes the instructions are terrible but it’s not hard to figure out. The plastic components are a little brittle but it doesn’t matter. Starts up very easily, has lots of power and comes with great accessories. Yes it’s heavy, but they all are and it comes with a harness for a reason. It works great and I have used it quite a lot on some very heavy brush. Would I buy it for commercial use? No i wouldn’t. But it’s great for the home or cottage. Their customer service is very good.I have been working with the company in order to get this unit working. Proyama replaced the pull rope and then helped me troubleshoot the original problem. It turns out that the spark coil was bad and after they sent me a replacement, they gave me instructions on adjusting the carbonator. The unit is working well and now it's blackberry bushes beware. The design of this tool is really good and the company is easy to work with if you go through Amazon. Great purchase, highly recommended.

I got the turf tiger , kohler efi , it blew up at a little over 400 hrs so i junked it , just passed warranty , then they didnt have another one when i needed to buy a new one , so i got the tiger cat 2 , it made it 380 hours and broke the frame at the front wheel , both times the dealer wouldnt do nothing for me , so i retired the mowing business , couldn't buy a quality mower that would last till it was paid off , i ended up paying off both of them out of my pocket ..😢

You are the first person who I agree with about cutting grass. It has very little to do with the mower. The mower is only the vehicle the blades do all the cutting. Unfortunately you missed the best blade or maybe you are not aware of the John Kavli mower blades. No blade comes even close to it when it comes to tall and hard to cut grass. If your mower can push it over the Beast blade will cut it and leave the smallest clippings of any blade.

I think you might have for got Gravely . The most mower for your money hands down. Tons of commercial mower choices.

Thanks for all the tips! My challenge is that many of my clients have a step slope to access the back yard, i think the slope itself is 35°. Luckily i don't have to mow that, it is 2" landscape rock bed fill. But do you know which one or ones would make it up that slope every time? There's no way for me to get to the back yard except this slop.

Ryobi sucks lately. They used to be a good value but not any more on most of their tools. And you left this out that their zero turn USES LEAD ACID BATTERIES, don't they? Who wants to deal with crappy lead acid batteries when all the other ZT's use lithium batteries???
