Agreed. I’ll be making a best mower for hillsides video. Dealer support is probably the most important factor for any mower. They’re all good… but they all break.
Delivered a nice even cut, has the super tight turning ability ua-cam.com/users/postUgkx1VWTrayKBdCKAjzAcZ_Eg4dhHTae3LkN also recommend I was looking for, and is just a blast to drive. It takes a little bit to get used to driving one after driving a normal tractor style, but once you've got it, you've got it. If you're cutting lines, you have to be careful spinning the mower around or the back tire will dig a bare spot. Just take it nice and slow during the turn and then it's back to full throttle across the yard!
Toro is lighter and outstanding dealer’s support. Has extra tools to make things easier and faster. But you know that. And better price by quite a bit.
Exmarks = Ferris = Wright = Scag...All of these mowers are same quality at this point in 2023. All the other brands are probably a little under these in terms of quality though...
@KungFury. My 73 year old back is doing fine with a zero turn rider. You get to know where the bumps are after mowing each lawn once, slower the first time.
@@bottmar1 I’m 21 and don’t have a bad back lol. I’ve put a few thousand hours on zero turns mainly cheetah and turf tigers and just got a wright zk and there’s a noticeable improvement in how I feel at the end of the day. I would’ve agreed with you a year ago before testing it.
In my opinion a stand on is much easier on your back. Even with a good suspension, your back takes a beating when sitting. On a stand on your knees act as a secondary shock absorber which translates into very little stress on the back. I’ve owned both and I will never buy another sit down zero turn.
@@mikeh1564 . So, mmhh, the problem with back pain it is transladeted to your KNEES!. I learn somenthin new everyday! I always impresed how technology become better, thanhks sr.
Stand ons are much better at seeing what's in front of you, and if you have to pick something up or bail off the mower, are much easier to get off. Also, absorbing the shock throughout your body, from the legs up is much better. I have ZT's and standers and my back isn't soar after mowing all day on a stander.
@@mikeh1564 My hips hurt more than my back does. I can hardly get off the mower after sitting for only a few hours. I'd say standing is better because you have your knees to help absorb some bumps.
I have a scag 32 and 52 love both of them !! Great quality
Is 32 too small for commercial
for standons you still need to look at cut quality , dealer support and the ability to go up and down hills

I've heard great things about the cub cadet...
Idk about Ferris being number one that icd deck sucks in slightly wet grass if it rains forget about it I know I just got rid two of them
I think they have a new 60” coming out that should fix that. Not sure when though
Own ferris 3xz 61 over 3 years,rock soild.

Wright zk #1, gravely pro stance #2, Ferris z2 #3
I had a great Dane stand on mower I used for 4 years , it was a good mower but the terraine of my yard I got kinda nervous of it and sold it !

I tested one of the Ferris mowers last year and it seemed kind of cheap. But, the cut seemed pretty good...go figure.
I’ve had a Z2 and Z3 for 6 years now, very durable. The Z3 37HP is an absolute tank

Good to know. It's so hard to tell from a
Small time with it.
I've have a Z3X for 3 years now. This is amazing. Also most comfortable platform to stand on. Plus Oil Gaurd. I love it.
I have Scag but I always thought Farris looked like a high quality machine.
Scag. The end. No one is topping out speed mowing. For the money and build quality nothing beats a scag
I figured the toro grandstand would be on here
John Deere
Wright

Fair argument. Dealer’s in your area is probably more important
I like my John Deere.
Aka Wright?
Toro multi force
Gravely
Ferris
15 gallons??? Think that’s off
For the ZK? It’s not… look at their website…
Stand all day? No way.
RIP your back

@@bottmar1 as someone who runs both, stander is way better on the back
No doubt it is better on a bad back. After 73 years with no back problems I'll keep sitting.

Why stand when you can sit? Especially when u have acres to mow.
