Starfield: Killing Terrormorphs with the Cutter is Overpowered and Awesome!
Переглядів 290Рік тому
Another Starfield video, this time about how I've been running a cutter only, or more honestly, cutter mostly, playthrough on very hard difficulty. I've tried to avoid quest spoilers, but this video is taken while running the UC Vanguard final mission, so the location and creatures may be spoiled, however I've avoided quest based story and conversation that could spoil the story itself. It does...

If you guys try to do other windows and find an issue where the glass seems to be poking out of the frame and faces get all mesed up, remember to REMOVE the glass vertices from the shrinkwrap vertex group, if you forget it and assign it immediately to glass then you will get a very ugly result.
Just so you guys know since the tutorial is a bit old, in Blender 4.1 and later versions, the Auto Smooth option has been relocated from the Object Data Properties under Normals to a new location. It is now implemented as a modifier called Smooth by Angle. To access and use this feature: Select your object in the 3D Viewport. Navigate to the Modifiers tab in the Properties Editor. Click on Add Modifier and choose Normals > Smooth by Angle. Adjust the angle threshold as needed to achieve the desired smoothing effect.
I have a 3D model of a car that I imported into blender but I have not ability with technology to do all the work to get it into automation/beamng. Would you be able to help if I sent you the file, happy to pay for your time.
does this work with UE 5.5?
A wild one you could have added to this are the magazines in the Syndicate Hideout in Neon. I stumbled into a rooftop access hatch and upon entering they actually weren't hostile. They have 1-2 magazines in there, from what I remember. Going through their base backwards you can sort of figure out who has been covering for them in Neon, since you exit the 'secret' entrance next to the person.
Since Unreal and the Automation Tool has changed quite a bit, it´d be great to know how to continue through the Unreal part of the mod nowadays.
This reminds me of a college level course. Is there a collection of gloassary terms? Im like a confused freshman who read none of the required materials. And high af
Im an actual car person , and ive never encountered the term workflow. Is that computer nerd shit?
*WEll Done* I was curious about these magazines. Are they activated 'permanently' when you pick them up..or ..do you keep them inside your inventory , to keep them active ??
its hard
how you dot that
well done
woooooooooooooooooooooooooow
yes. now i can not know how to export to automation in style
nvm found the export button im an idiot
You can get a skill book without battle at nova galactic staryard at earth moon. It is in the locked room just inside the station after the dead spacer and before the 1st actual loading door. I forget which book it is but I saw it the other day...I always forget to turn around so I miss the locked storeroom most times. You can go here without the constellation quest.
Can you put the automation proyect link?
It ask me alot of plugins and it doesnt open, what do i do?
Or you can use my BAT file......
brb, exporting all my FBXs with "hahaha" preset (Thank you for this, I'm still relatively new to Blender, & have been salty when my exported character models show up buried in the floor because the armature was scaled 100x for no good reason! Now I don't have to worry about that.)
Glad I could help!
Finally a video that actually makes sense to me!
Having an issue finding the CAMSO body variant privew data file portion of the video in the version 5 of unreal editor... can someone help? I cant seem to find this on google anywhere.
Very helpful, thank you!
Interesting , Thank You
Thanks for all the skill mags! Additionally, if you go to the science outpost on Red Mile. When you land head over to the “abandoned Robotics Facility” upstairs in the control room you’ll find UC Defense Manual 05 (increase mag size and weapon bash critical chance) easy grab

Do I need to change the Advanced Fixture class to "A_Fixture" when it's already "Fixture"? Because whenever I try doing that, UE4 just kills itself
weightlifting is not for oxygen consumption but to increase carry capacity
HI, I really enjoyed this video and found it very useful. Thanks for making it. Any chance you can do one on the snow globes??
Great suggestion! Maybe I'll make that my next vid, I've been trying to think of some other good ideas! Hopefully I can get to it over the summer.
Does simply picking them up enable the skill / perk ?
Yep!
Excellent video. TYVM. 👏
Nice video thanks for all the info, we'll worth the time
Since you are doing a pirate run on this character, you should kill Larry Dumbrosky on the cruise ship. It does interesting things to your game.
Oh nice, thanks for the tip! I'll try it out.
Video was not watchable with all the youTube commercial interruptions
Nothing I can do about that, UA-cam monetizes this video and pays me nothing, I have no control over this.
Well done, mate. Thanks.
Appreciate this video. I mean, I've logged around 600 hours or so at this point and made it all the way to level 164 yet I still never ran into these skill books... Well, I saw them, but I never realized they did anything for me. I recently realized certain clothing can do this, so this video was especially cool. Many thanks, and keep up the great work!
Nice approach to the game! Even people who refuse to cheese the game can do this.
Thanks for this! I am on NG+ and this was really helpful. I do want to point out one thing: I am maxed on the weightlifting skill. I went to the Clinic to get the magazine to the immediate left (Constellation Guide 04 which gave you 15% less O2 while over encumbered). My Constellation Guide 04 actually gave me a 5% increase output on all of my outposts. (This is awesome for me because I have outposts set up to produce Vytinium Fuel Rods). I said all that to say the game probably does this for all the magazines--gives you a different bonus if you are maxed on a certain skill. So the weightlifting skill may be worth it after all ( It definitely was for me)
Well if you're making Vytinium Fuel Rods, I assume you're running an XP farm, and you're like level 200+ so why not take weight lifting at that point? I just don't think it's worth spending points on early, or hell, before level 60 even, when there are so many other skills that'll give you a lot more benefit than carrying around useless crap. 😛 I have a character that's level 217 or so and it's so boringly overpowered I'd rather just start brand new games to get an actual challenge.
Yeah, I basically always find a mechanized space suite by the Mantis quest but if not I'll reroll the Mantis suite till I get one. Than that will do me till I can get 200 or 180 ish resistance on a suite I pick up. That's when I work on weightlifting yeah around lvl60. This way I work on my science skills so I can make chems and vytinium rods sooner :) lol
Can you please go double check the ones that are supposedly “locked” behind quests? If I remember correctly the one in the master building and the clinic are both accessible without having to “unlock” anything. You can go nearly anywhere in the game without worry so I don’t understand why they would be locked. I’m assuming you’re referring to the Freestar magazine in the deputy office in the clinic?
What’s weird is, I’m at the Clinic right now and my skill magazine is a Constellation Guide 04 but it says “Healing items are permanently 5% more effective”
@@High_Key can’t trust anything in this game.
@@High_Key Are you maxed out on the weightlifting skill? I am and got a 5% increase on outpost production.
@@rxdawg75 yeah I am, and I also found this particular magazine like a few hours prior to starting this skill mag run at a random POI in Masada III as well. So I wonder if that had something to do with it. I did the whole skill magazine run here and had 2 other occurrences where the skill mags I found while following his directions were different as well. Forgot which ones exactly though.
Oh and by the way when you do go mass murder the Constellations wants nothing to do with you. I suggest if you do this after jump to NG. That is what I did LOL!
I'd never successfully made my companions hate me for more than a mission or two, or 24 universal time. Than, in my experience, they forget about whatever they had complaints about.
You can shot your way off and go to cydionia and meet with a fella down by the elevator that will send you to Neava. Then you don't have to deal with the spy end of the quest. In my six NG play through I shot up the Vigilance then went to Mars and joined the Crimson Flleet. I also had fun with killing everyone on Jamieson, Akila, and the Key. I racked up 3 mil bounties in each system. I will say to save before you go mass murder. ]
Great video topic! And very easy to follow along
Btw for the reload skill and magazines, they’re kind of bugged. If you have a throwable equipped, the buffs don’t work. The moment you un-equip a throwable, your reloads are faster. Strange bug but I think Glitch Unlimited mentioned it.
super helpful with finding those non-combat skill magazines!
I did it with a level 26 - it was hard and almost did not make it, maxed guns and a reverse fire plasma auto turret was the difference
What weapons are you using
Its in the video
Yeah man, these guys are right, enemy difficulty levels up with you. I'm level 82 NG+11 and tried this for a laugh recently. Didn't last 30 sec. Great video for players though, would like to see you try this as you level up and how that ship handles.
Definitely true, though I made it to NG+ 3 or 4 with that level 221 character but honestly I'm so OP in combat it's pretty boring. Enemy difficulty goes up until you hit NG+ 10 so I guess I should rush 10 on that character but this low level play through is just more fun I think.
Fair call, I'll have a look back through to see if you've done a ship build or if this short is from a longer video. Would be interested to see what you used.
This was my first Starfield video, really did it for one friend of mine. I haven't made any videos on this channel for a while. @@Nick-jn2fq
Ive hit greater than your speed at 4x your mass, we are not the same. Excellent video tho,
At level 30?
around 30ish ya, am 33ish now, somehow got a hold of a ship with 4x massive engines i dont even have access yet to in the builder, but I can pilot it. @@therotorooster
Did you level up engines skill, because I haven't done that which will make a huge difference. What ship did you get? @@firinmahlazorz
did not touch engine upgrades tho certainly will eventually, name of the ship was - Venture II - i held onto it for the cargo/space trucking@@hardroosterlabs3814
Easy peasy. Ship class dosent matter much. What matters is weapon choice and engine power
can you show how you made the badges for your car
How does the ship stack up against something like a legendary ship? ran into a fight vs 3 ecliptic (Claymore III and 2x Claymore Bayonett III) but got shredded in seconds after taking out 1 of them in my C rank ship. maybe should have tried to snipe them.
I'll let you know when this character levels up more, but this ship will likely be a Class B ship when I get to level 60. I've made it to level 41 now and it already has a new reactor, same power but more hull and faster repair rate. This is meant more to show what can be done at level 30 with a ship that isn't too complicated.
So just took out a Starborn Guardian V and two IVs if that counts, level 43 now.
My door, trunk, and hood seams still aren't unified, whenever, I simply unwrap my car. I have gone back multiple times, and saved multiple files, to verify the mesh has no duplicate vertices. How do you keep your seems from dividing the UVs in UV editor?
Hey, do you think you could explain what you're doing at 2:36 because it isn't working for me, thanks!
Me too haha
i found out how it works, go to cursor
@@MiguelRivera24437 Thank you I got it too now!
