stumbled across this randomly and, as someone who has been obsessed with composing (and has composed several things myself) for probably 10 years, this is a dream. it sounds like a dream. it is a dream to have all of these colors to paint with. I am primarily a violinist and, having a lack of frets, it's fairly up to discernment of my ear to play things that are microtonal or to even hear them when I'm tuning to play standard western music, but when I hear things like this I am just absolutely enchanted. a bell choir, with as rigid of instruments as they work with, and a lumatone?? the artistry and the taste is just immaculate. I literally can't stand it as I listen to it, tears in my eyes. this is so special. I am appreciating it immensely.

12 isn't quite a subset of 31, which makes this have a more xen texture, being polytonal.

This is a-bloody-mazing! The way the 31TET lumatone is quite literally *trying to fit in* with the 12TET ensemble, and manages it better and better as the piece goes on is sooooo coooool! The reason I usually hate mixed tuning pieces is the very same reason I love this one. Kudos to you!

Fun Fact: You can't play this song on piano unless it's offkey or transposed because this song was composed in microtonal format, so you can't play it on a normal piano, but you can play it on the lumatone!

Aryaman, I listened to your composition thrice over. I really loved the first half. Infact whilst listening to the first half I was constantly imagining a Kathak dancer dancing to the tune :-) I just lovvved it, the tempo and rhythm of the beats. I loved how the beats pick up from 1:37, absolutely foot tapping, catchy and very melodious. Your written notes within the music sheet really helped understand this composition better. I ended up reading more about Kherewa beats. Very interesting. Wishing you continued success and many accomplishments in the coming years.

The piece is no doubt beautiful...but what I liked the most is the way it is explained in the video especially for non music sheet readers like me... The subtle nuances in every part and the beats of the tabla, the usage of Ragas and all all the other instruments.... After the first watch I guess I will have to pause, read, listen and watch it several times before finally enjoying the whole piece again with proper appreciation...Kudos once again 🎉🎉
