The captivating title ' Kaalchakra' and the introduction encapsulates the entire Hindu philosophy in a nutshell .The explanation of the three segregated sections enhances the flavour and aroma of the music as one can relate each section distinctly while listening . What a lovely piece and what a hugely talented young man. We will surely hear more of him in the future. The proffesors introductory remarks were so good to hear. I hope this helps bring some relief to all those who suffered losses during Covid, wherever they may be from.
I am so so proud of you Aryaman. You brought out varied aspects not only of your life but I would say, also of lives of the entire world, past, present and the future. Present, because Covid affected each and every person in the past 20 odd months...Past and future because life and death are, as you explained, on the 'Wheel of Time', which merely change places...Deep...And the music...Kudos to you for coming with this masterpiece, but also to the entire St Olaf Band. I can imagine how difficult it must have been for the band members to pronounce the Sanskrit shlokas....Most importantly, the faith that Dr Mahr had in your music...Bringing so many different styles and instruments together and amalgamating them wonderfully...Truly mesmerizing
