imagine if they gave us a pokemmo style game for the 30th anniversary, with all 10 regions in one game with the ability to swap between regions at any point. thatd be wild

i feel like based on their pattern after leaving japan for regions i feel like it probably won’t be mediterranean just because 9 was literally that. i feel like it’s probably gonna be something like the Galapagos / Americas or in South East asia/ Oceania. I think a region based on something like the Philippines, Indonesia or Papua would be really cool but idk if they’d pick something like Philippines or anything closer bc of history and relations. idk how the countries are now but perhaps theyd stick with something a little further from home

The Idea I had was: An alternative timeline Region. Where the "islands" are modified Kanto/Johto ETC Regions. Like a small scale version of those regions, with some different parts added. For example the mount moon is clearly as the OG mount moon but with different looks. You also get alternative timeline Pokemon instead of regional forms. Different stats and types. A usually tanky and bulky Pokemon is now a sweeper and vice versa. Alternative Chars could also be cool. Giovanni is not the leader of Team Rocket in this game, he hes a good guy here. Jesse and James are Gymleaders. Cynthia is a professor. We have a dad not a mom !

Bro i will hate them forever if they dont bring the old ones out. Ive been trying to figure out how to play them for sometime now. I wanna play blue, red and yellow also gold and silver. I dont really care for the new pokemon to much and they are very easy to play. They tell you excatly what to do and where to go witch is nice in a way but i remember games when they didnt do that and you spent hrs trying to figure it out. I miss the old pokemon i think they are better than the new ones. Tell me what you guys think. I will buy every one they put out.

Wait, three starters and three major primal forces gaia= Grass/Rock or Ground, Tartar us = Fire/Dark or Ghost, And Ouranous = water/Flying Mostly because of the death or ouranous. And maybe we get a new legendary trio based on Zues, Poseidon, And Hades. It might be the best yet. Though you can't rule out if you're wrong and its not based on greece. Maybe then it would be Rome and they thought of putting Gaia as the codename to bait us to that theory and not realize its only a small link. Ok, my brains hurting now😅

Germany has also a lot of Islands in the north sea and east sea. about twenty to be exact, which , if they would orientate on the northern parts, maybe put in Netherlands and Denmark too.

We have had two games based on European countries now, of course, then there is Hawaii and Japan… I feel like, if they want to keep exploring different countries, with these games, it would make sense to go outside of Europe/Asia (I know Hawaii is technically the US, but it feels more Asian) It would be really cool to see something based in Africa, or in the Middle East. But I guess it might be difficult to create a world with diverse climates around here (and I need my ice Pokémon!). What would be cool is to have something Nordic, and since we have had two games in Europe already, basing a game in Canada would be a great option! But of course, from the sound of these leaks, it will definitely not be Canada… Just my thoughts 😅

They make more money off remakes than bringing the old games to the newer systems ex: let’s go evee pikachu , omega ruby alpha sapphire, brilliant diamond pearl etc. love the idea but we all know how greedy they are

What they should do is make a version where you get to explore all of the regions challenging all gyms add a few exploration side quest like mews jungle or helping a professor discover a new prehistoric region while fighting off thugs such as team rocket and team galactic and put some more motions in the battles instead of just saying your team dodge an attack actually show it or when using moves like protect actually show the move being deflected and add a new item like a groveling hook to climb with

So, Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth Complete Edition has a feature that you can play either the main Cyber Sleuth Story or Hacker's Memory and they have separate save files. With Hacker's Memory being Side-B of the main Cyber Sleuth story. This is EXACTLY what Gen 5 remakes need. Allow us to pick which story we want to play at the main menu and have separate save files for them. Maybe even unlock the sequel story once you finish the first game story. Give a feature that allows you to access the PC of the other save file once you beat both games and you have a fantastic base for one of the best remakes to arguably the best Pokémon games ever made.

Nintendo and Pokemon doesn't support ROM hacks ever, No chance. However a rom compilation is possible

the chances could be that Heart gold/soul silver gets another remake. after BD/SP remake it would make sense to remake those. and with the theory of kaze(wind) for Ho-Oh and Nami(Wave) for Lugia. + the East and West hint. HG/SS got Johto and Kanto so east and west could be the way to go on this hint but idk.

As an adult fan of pokemon, the last time Game Freak fooled me was buying ultra sun and that wasn't even that bad. (big fun of gens 4 5 and 6) Highly doubt this game will be worth it.

It won't happen, especially the 3/DS stuff. They've heavily pushed for players to buy the new games since the Switch came out and turning them into semi-live service and competitive battle focused platforms. I'm also pretty sure they also partly blame the weak SM/USUM sales on the release of the VC games at a lower price, especially with USUM from the release of Gold/Silver compiling the already hated 'updated' dual version attempt. The only time we're gonna see the classic games at this point might be if they continue the ill received 'remakes' decision of how BDSP was handled now. Not that it was a bad game in itself, just that previous remakes had set a precedant of being improved/expanded version of older Gens in the current Generation's format and the Chibi style, adherence to DP content while excluding Plat, and its place between SwSh which was already on the stake being burned along with the actually well received Arceus, it was a recipe for disaster. Besides that, the Gamefreak staff doesn't seem like it has any more enthusiasm for the mainline series or remakes anymore. Their side/Legends series looks to be their new passion that will end up getting the love as it seems they are getting to actually try experimental designs/changes that don't adhere to what I would guess are the somewhat strict guidelines/requirements for new mainline titles needing gimmicks, selling points, ways to integrate new TCG cards and tie in to sell merch, etc.
