Believe I've been playing this since 2004! Release of original xbox ... 50 is worth it so worth it that I sold my ps4 and got a ps5 just to get this!!! So yes this game costed me to get a PS5 I LOVE NINJA GAIDEN SERIES ALL OF THEM. SINCE I WAS 12 AND NOW IM 32.

Picked it up last night, mainly because of nostalgia and it’s definitely worth it for me. But i’m already a huge fan of the gaiden games and the nioh games.

It’s worth getting Game Pass to play it if you’re a fan of the OG. I’m actually impressed, it’s way better than Sigma 2, but not as good as NG2.

The thing I haven’t seen anyone mention that consistently annoys me visually is that, as is common with 99% of remakes/remasters, the art design has been misunderstood. In particular, in the original 360 version his suit is very black, very shiny and oh so fetishistically sexy. Much more so than in 1 or 3. In the remaster it is a dull grey. NGII Black in name only.

Ive played each version and this the best imo, even with the minor flaws. If you've played the original you're hard up for $50 then wait for a price drop. The esthetic alone was worth the $50 alone for me

It not even worth 50 since like half of the stuff is missing heck and most of the females have been hit with dei modern day stuff, also don't call me a goomer whatever, ayane first appearance was doa 2 1999 I was basically the same age as her years go by I age she hasn't her age stayed the same while mine went up, there no way should would have 5 freaking tournaments at age 16, that just insane.

If you’re on console and a fan of hack and slash? Then yeah it’s worth it but if you’re on PC and don’t have top tier hardware then you gotta deal with blurry visuals cause the game isn’t optimized at all

Absolutely worth 50$. Looks VERY good. Playable Ayane was icing on the cake. If Ninja Gaiden Sigma got this much of a graphical upgrade, I'd drop another 50$.

The texture pop in is definitely the 4060. That happens for most new games when you have an 8gb card.

Finally someone that played the originals and does not cry about how different this one is and gives it a fair shake. Currently at Sigma in the Master Collection, first time ever playing the series. It's good but very much kicking my ass.

Beat it, yes it’s worth it.

The game was good (reminded me of old GOW games) in my opinion the story was not interesting at all, I personally did not feel connected to the characters throughout the story.

I’ve never played a single game in this franchise, so I decided to give it a shot on Game Pass. It definitely feels like a classic Xbox 360 game, albeit with better lighting, which is an improvement. The clunky controls, annoying camera angles, excessive gore, ridiculous plot, and cutscenes are all part of the package. I appreciate how the game shifts settings in every chapter-from New York to Japan, caverns, castles, and even Venice, Italy. The combat is satisfying when you get into a good rhythm, and the finishing animations are punchy and impactful. The soundtrack is outstanding, and you get to play as different characters throughout the campaign. That said, the platforming sections are lacking, and the bosses are merely average. The tag team mode is decent but doesn't stand out. Overall, this game offers a fun experience for both veterans and newcomers, but be ready to face some tough challenges. I don’t regret playing it; however, it’s simply not my favorite genre.

I just wish they coulda released Legends 3 on the 3DS. It looked so promising.

$65 price tag for me on steam.

They removed all the stuff I did not like in Vanilla and the female parts are not the worst because they’re short. But I would prefer just Ryu. Can’t believe Kasumi is in the game w/o being in the game. Sad. So I have to get Razor’s edge…

I had a lot of fun with it. The only issues I have are 1. Lack of costumes compared to the OG 2 back on the 360. And locking the coolest costume behind the hardest difficulty. 2. No windmill Shuriken. 3. No NG+ Other than that, I had a blast. Heres hoping they'll add more in any future updates.

I just beat the sigma 2 3 hours before they announce this I’ll wait for a sale and hope they bring back the jiggle physics that they made for the PS3 version 😊

Ninja Gaiden 2 is also my favorite. I love playing as Ayane, Momiji, & Rachel also. Ayane is my favorite DOA character as well. I enjoy them being intertwined with both series.

A lot of people said No but I love it too. It feals some kind of better but also in some little points kind of wors then the Original Version back in that Days. At least it's good and I also consider to say it's back for real.

They just couldn't have smoothed out the camera for this update. I feel like $50 was a bit much. Haven't felt that way in a long time. But i do not have fond memories of the shitty camera control.
