Hands down the entire journey from ARR to Endwalker has been one of the best stories I ever played though, and so much of me wishes to experience it again for the first time blind. The way it ends with the fight. Yes the journey was good, one of the best I have ever had and look forward to what comes after.

Shadowbringers' ending was a left hook, 5.3 was a gut shot, then Endwalker ending was a straight kill shot. Hands down some of the best story telling in any game I've played in the last 10 years I think.

I love the idea of your character giving Emet the two fingers when he's looking at you for the first time. With sunshades & puffy hair. 🤣 Probably on brand for our Azem shard

Elpis is one of the few zones where you can't see the moon (for obvious reasons) and the only none final zone where you can't see it iirc.

The entire experience of this part of Endwalker is beautiful. Painfully so in many places, but truly beautiful. For me the music once again really makes it perfect. The way 'Close in the Distance' builds across Ultima Thule. The sorrow and beauty and love held in every note. The almost jaunty accompliment to the horrors of the worlds the Meteia have seen. The proud, strong declaration of *Your Answer*: your WoL has their own reasons to be there, their own reasons to carry on, but the answer is the same for all of us. We have found purpose in our existence here, and we will not let you end it! That montage you created for the lonely walk brought me to tears. God you really went all out and I'm so glad.

Zenos and Hydaelyn sharing the "was it all worth it" line is what made my main's adventurer plate quote what it is "A story worth telling. A smile worth saving. Was it worth it?"

to answer your question at 1:10:52 yes it is the emet from elpis, but remember when zodiark was defeated the souls of the ancients returned to the star, including emet and hythy, which means they regained all their memories, so yes, its the same emet from elpis, and its the same emet that we fought in shadowbringers
