What I don’t like about the movie is that, we don’t get any focus or storyline of Harper. Explanation why she acting the way she is, as we just supposed to dislike and hates. Because what Riley said about, while we don’t get any of Harper. Side of the story to see if it even true or not, we supposed accept Riley words for it. Or because Harper either ignored and not spending time with Abby. I just think that Harper was done and written dirty in the whole movie, which was sort of unfair and wasn’t done well as I think. Harper’s family got a little bit more scene time or focus. Even I think Riley got more screen time than Harper, who supported to a minor character and not meant to that important. While Harper who supposed to be Abby love interest not Riley. I also, don’t understand why a lot of people in a comment. Wants Abby to be with a complete stranger, that she just met and hardly know that much. All we know she could be as bad as Harper or Riley have an another side of her, just because what happened her in the past by Harper doesn’t make her any better then Harper. Like I said, Abby just met Riley like a few days ago. Be good an enough reason to consider that for Abby should go with, a complete stranger that she hardly knows about her. Because she told a story about, what happened with Harper. As how we know that she didn’t just made it up, just cause tension as like I said. As we don’t anything side of Harper the story, we just supposed to take Riley’s words. We just supposed hates Harper for that, just Riley said so to Abby to take it as the fact.

Sorry but The New 2023 Little Mermaid is a terrible movie. Everybody is well aware that if you do not say that The New 2023 Little Mermaid is the best movie you have ever seen in your life that you are a Racist. What a joke no freedom of thought is allowed ! Sorry to disagree but The New 2023 Little Mermaid doesn't have any redeeming qualities at all. 3/10

I love your detailed review. I'm not a big fan of animated films nor have I seen the original Mermaid so I'm devoid of the jaded controversial pro and con comparisons. But being familiar with the songs I gave it a chance to see this live-action version and decided to see it in IMAX 3D. Was I impressed! It exceeded my expectations especially reading all the pre-released national and global negativity. Kudos to Rob Marshall's brilliant and artful direction (thoroughly enjoyed his Chicago and Into The Woods). I was astonished how creatively crafted and engaging the storytelling and musical numbers were, along with heavy-weighted realism the VFX/CGI effects commanded despite its fairy-tale fantasy theme. Enough can't be said about the chemistry, musicality and heartfelt performances of both Halley and Jonah. Enjoyed the songs familiar and new and comic relief moments of the supporting characters. Overall, not much negative to note including 2 hours+ despite the forgettable ongoing critical trolling. Plan to see it again.

I wrote a detailed review on Rotten Tomatoes and IMDB, I gave it a 9.5/10. I'm going to see it again for the second time this weekend. I loved it so much, it's one of the best live action remakes Disney has done in year, this movie has so much heart. EDIT: I saw it in IMAX, people go see it at the theater watching bootleg clips online is not the same lol.

This movie surprised me with how much I enjoyed it. I liked what they did with the New York setting. Ghost Face was terrifying and each sequences was brilliantly executed in my opinion. I also liked the new cast a lot in this one. I think they’ve officially outgrown the need for legacy characters. After this one, really looking forward to Scream 7! Great review, Ryan.

I am so sorry that you were hurt by people who are supposed to be following the example of Jesus. It’s our job to love you, not to judge and ostracize you.
