It was a movie that I regretfully attended sober. Midway through, given the length of it, I wished I had something to numb the uncomfortable theatre seat. I LIKED the movie, but not LOVED it. As a gay Asian Am who studied Psychology, I appreciated the inclusion and raising awareness ti mental health issues (Thena's mental health) but at times, it felt like that was what this film was about mainly, a large marketing campaign to show a new leaf for Disney despite its questionable history, which is fine. But they could've made it way, way shorter. Overall, it's a movie I probably wouldn't mind watching at home, where I could pause and take a break for a minute.
