Hello, here is a Vlog style video of me rambling on to the camera while fixing the leak on my fn2 boot. There are better videos on this subject for sure... but here's my contribution. Does it look pretty, no! Does it work...? So far so good! Gee's video = ua-cam.com/video/aVvwqJ85ArU/v-deo.html thanks for the tips... this video is worth a watch, if my rambling on makes no sense. :D

      Hey bud… I never made them In the end as I got next to no interest sadly. Looking back I think the real solution was the replacement of the clutch master cylinder, the bushes maybe helped. If you have this issue I’d 100% change that brake master cylinder… I could t stand that noise 😂 Crap job though, I’d get someone to do it for you if you cba. Thanks for the sub too 👍🏼🫡

    Nice mate!!!! Did you gain any headroom compared to the OEM seat? I am about to order a Recaro Pole Position, and the only thing I want to achieve is to sit lower. Do you happen to know how much lower you are sitting now?

    • @yardspeed13
      @yardspeed13 День тому

      Hi mate, yeah it is a bit lower… but not much. Maybe about 3cm… it definitely feels lower especially compared to the passenger seat. Obviously each bucket seat will be different. The pole position is a nice seat, that’s what I wanted, but I’m too big for it

    • @PT82
      @PT82 День тому

      Recently did all this to my DC2. I got a Recaro SPG XL. I’m a 34” waist 6’2”. Pole positions are not suitable if you’re 6ft or over imo. The harness holes are really low on them.

    • @yardspeed13
      @yardspeed13 День тому

      Yeah mate, I’m a similar size (bit shorter) I found they flexed when I sat in it. The other seat I considered was a Sparco Evo XL but I decided against it because of too much branding wasn’t my taste. I’d bloody love a DC2… enjoy it man 😎

    Think I used clear tiger seal + sealant gun + good finger smudge to level it down on the rails. The weather seal can also harden and lose its flexibility (mine had actually split in two places hidden on the inside too). Depending on how far out the tailgate alignment is with the adjusters, that seal doesnt really seal. Especially with a high pressure spray wash in the right place.

    Thank you so much. My fn2. also has this sound. Fortunately, I saw your video. I did not purchase a new clutch pedal. Work on Monday. I'll try to fix it. Thank you very much for sharing your video.✌

      You’re welcome… hope you can fix it soon. It’s either the clutch master cylinder or the bushes or both. Good luck with the fix and thanks for watching and leaving a comment 🫡😀

    How much downforce actually produces that spoiler at 160-200kmh and is it worth it without diffusor at the back?

      I have no idea… I’ve not exactly had it in a wind tunnel. Very difficult to measure… I just fitted it because I like the look of it

    In one week I will have my BBK installed on mine, this is how I ended up on your channel. And your documentation have helped a lot for me! Just wanted to let you know, because as I can see you are not getting the views you deserve! :) It turned out we are pretty much doing the same things, I'm just a few years behind hahaha :D Got my sub, looking forward to see your content!

      Thank-you mate I really appreciate that. Which BBK are you going for? If it’s the YellowSpeed like mine I was really disappointed with pads they supplied, especially on track. Hopefully you get to enjoy yours soon. Thanks again for the sub 🙌🏼🫡

      @@yardspeed13 I've got brand new Renault Clio 3 RS Brembo calipers and going with EBC TurboGroove discs and EBC BlueStuff pads. I've been tracking mine with EBC brakes before as well and I have a good experience, so looking forward to this set as well :D I have just uploaded an unboxing of vid of mine a few days ago, can't wait to have it on the car :D

    hi mate follow you got an issue with me brakes can you help me some times when i brake i get a sound like metal on metal so i've stripped down the brakes thinking they need changing but there fine disc as well why that then sounds horrible but it doesn't do it all the time man in the know can you advise me please do you think i need new brake lines rick in leicester

      @yardspeed13 3 місяці тому

      Hey mate, erm… sounds daft but have you checked both front and back? Is it from one side or both? It’s really hard to guess without having seen or heard it in person. Brake lines won’t/should t cause any noise. What are your dust shields like? Also does it only happen when you brake or all the time?

    Nice video ! I think , in that situation i would have replaced the rear beam first and then install the whiteline stuff after ^^ . Everytime i watch one of your videos i'm learning more about my own car.

      Funny you should mention that… I was going to wait and not install the rear bar. My beam isn’t that bad, but certainly not perfect, it does need replacing at some point. When I do the beam I’ll get all the brackets powder coated. That’s for watching mate and leaving a comment 😃
