So many great ideas! Thanks for sharing.
You’re welcome & thank you for stopping by😊
I'm using toilet paper rolls for my beans since they don't like their roots disturbed. I'm doing this because of grubs and slugs.i usually grow in grow bags, but I want the roots of the beans to spread their wings. Thanks for showing your way of doing the toilet rolls.I do reuse old containers from plants I purchase or when I buy trays.I have them until they fall apart lol and they aren't the expensive ones from the start.I don't need a lot of trays because I grow small scale and have enough for me and neighbors. If the heat doesn't kill my swiss chard or sensitive plants, I have them year round.i don't have to keep dropping seeds all the time because I'm in 9b. Great tips ❤
That’s what I’m talking about Delphine…reuse, repurpose & save money. I know some plants don’t like their roots disturbed and I’ve had great success using the toilet paper roll method. As for the plants that keeps dying, I constantly do succession planning so I’ll have enough to replace them Thanks for you kind thoughts Happy gardening 🧑🌾
It is an idea if u punch small in the bottle cap to use as a water fall when watering the plants
Yea, I’m probably going to use that hack in a future video 😊
Good day u may punch holes in the caps it will rain fall better in the pots.
U are doing such awesome work thank u
Thank you Laurel Blessings 😊
Good morning. Garden Godess. Another great video. You are very creative. Thank you for sharing. How many seeds do you place in the container? Can you winter sow with this method?
Gm Hazel, I hope you’re having a great day so far… Thanks again for your feedback, so if you’re using paper roll…I’d recommend one seed and for the bottle by itself you can probably put 2-3 seeds The garden is an experimental place so it’s always good to try new stuff to see what works best😊
@gladesgardengirl8328 thank you for always answering my questions so promptly. Have a great day.
You can also use a long nail heat the tip with a candle, long lighter, gas stove, etc...
OMG, I don’t know how I forgot to mention this. Thanks for the reminder 😊 Blessings 🙏🏽
Awesome job ❤
Great info, I use toilet paper rolls and bottles as well but you've shown me a new way of folding the toilet paper rolls. We have to save where we can
Very interesting. Thanks for sharing
You’re welcome Angela🧑🌾

I live in jamaica and I drive in communities and pick up whatever items I see in the trash that can hold soil
Hello & good morning to you, it’s a pleasure having you here yardy😁 Girl, it is now a hobby of mine to dumpster dive for garden goodies😆😆 I believe that as long as an item have a top and bottom, it’s a potential container… Have fun finding all those treasures & happy gardening🧑🌾
You can use the cap from the Arizona jug and punch hole into the cap. I love your up cycling items.
@ghazel427 I could do that as well, but it depends on the plant that I’m watering… Thanks for the tip Hazel 😊
Appreciate you sharing ❤
You’re welcome Marie& I appreciate you supporting 😊
Do you consume the tumeric as a juice or take it in daily doses?
Hi Glories, thanks for joining us today. So, I actually take it as a daily shot but because it taste so good; sometimes I gulp it down like a drink 😆
❤❤❤great recipe.
YES! I GROW MY CABBAGES THIS WAY TOO.
This is awesome, what was your harvest like?
Enjoyed the video very informative. Keep up the great work. Watching from Georgia ❤
Oh thank you Dale, how’s the weather in Georgia?
Well to me it's very cold, they're talking about snow for Tuesday. I'm in Valdosta Georgia so we really don't see snow but about every 5-10 years.❤
Wow!! I can’t manage the cold at all; it just started raining here a few minutes ago…and I love that because if it continues until tomorrow God’s willing, I know my barrels will have a good amount of water in them 😊 Stay warm & be blessed🙏🏽
EASIEST DRIP IRRIGATION DIY . ua-cam.com/video/ki58sNaDD-o/v-deo.html
Thanks for sharing, this is an incredible idea. Last year I tried something similar with some bottles but I think it’s more effective with the strips of cloth. I’m definitely going to try it your way. Thanks again & blessings 🙏🏽
Really want to collect rain water but don’t know where to get these barrels from. Any ideas??
Hi Marykate, it’s so nice to have you here and I’m happy you’re thinking about storing rain water. I’m not sure what area you’re in but I would say check your local water treatment plant ; that’s where I’m getting mine. You’ll probably have to link up with someone there and have them save the drums for you. Before I met the person that is sourcing them for me I usually buy them from people for cheap…so try these options for a start. Have a great day 😊
No offense, but those of us in Zone 6 and above are chuckling at you all in the Southern states talking about the cold. We are dealing with single digit temps and can only wish for the temperatures you all are having. 😂😂😂
Oh DarlingEbony…no offense taken my dear 😆 God bless you all in those cold States; my not so young bones cannot manage the cold at all🥶 Have a great weekend and stay warm 😊
@@gladesgardengirl8328 You have a great weekend also. Awesome video.

Good morning. How are you using the orange laudry containers? I saw them in the video. You are the upcycling queen. Thank you for always sharing your budget gadgets.
Hey, hey, hey Hazel…I missed you for a few days. I pray you’re doing well. So, I used the detergent bottles to store extra water and because it has the nozzle…I just pump it and the water comes out easy 😀
@gladesgardengirl8328 you are amazing. I watch every post but don't always have questions. Thank you for sharing your blessings.
I understand Hazel? and that’s fine. I really appreciate your support, blessings to you and your family 😊

Hello neighbor…you’re welcome 🤗
Stay warm sweetheart 😊❤
beets in veg beef bone with cabbage or Brussels sprouts all veg in frig that needs to be cook
I smell soup😋😋😋
Chives IS the easiest herb to grow! I just use the bottoms of the ones I get fromthe farmers market and they grow forever🤣🤣🤣Last year I got to see the beautiful flowers for the first time, even my mama couldnt believe it was chives. I also regrow my cabbages and lettuces from the farmer market and my cabbage gaved me 3 heads from the same plant! Be encouraged, this too shall pass! Watching from Brasil.
I’m h my goodness Wanu, welcome, welcome, welcome and thank you so much for the feedback; you just made my day. I’m gonna go searching for some at the farmers market or at a nursery, whichever place I find first. Happy gardening 🧑🌾 And have a great day over there in Brazil😀

No problem Laurel, you’re welcome and thank you for supporting 😊
You are plants need sunlight, beautiful gardening, planting new vegetables soon to grow, harvesting is always the best time, plenty of vegetables and herbs in you garden 👍❤️
Thank you for your feedback and kind comments & you’re absolutely right about the plants needing sunlight; but if you’re referring to the ones at the side of the house, I choose that spot because most of the plants there is plants that love the shade and a little sunlight. I use a lot of veggies and herbs because I stop eating meat over a year now so I have to plant a lot to serve me for the entire year 😊 All the best with your garden 😀
Very informative video💖💖
Thank you Stacey 😊
Great find ! The milk is quite beneficial! You are so creative🤗🤗
