I can only imagine how cold it is right now in Valdosta, Georgia, but you know it’s all worth it for spring time gardening 🥶 Thank you for wanting to share…I’m going to try and figure out a way for you guys to share your gardens sometime in the future God’s willing😊 Stay warm & blessings 🙏🏽
I'm using toilet paper rolls for my beans since they don't like their roots disturbed. I'm doing this because of grubs and slugs.i usually grow in grow bags, but I want the roots of the beans to spread their wings. Thanks for showing your way of doing the toilet rolls.I do reuse old containers from plants I purchase or when I buy trays.I have them until they fall apart lol and they aren't the expensive ones from the start.I don't need a lot of trays because I grow small scale and have enough for me and neighbors. If the heat doesn't kill my swiss chard or sensitive plants, I have them year round.i don't have to keep dropping seeds all the time because I'm in 9b. Great tips ❤
That’s what I’m talking about Delphine…reuse, repurpose & save money. I know some plants don’t like their roots disturbed and I’ve had great success using the toilet paper roll method. As for the plants that keeps dying, I constantly do succession planning so I’ll have enough to replace them Thanks for you kind thoughts Happy gardening 🧑🌾
Good morning. Garden Godess. Another great video. You are very creative. Thank you for sharing. How many seeds do you place in the container? Can you winter sow with this method?
Gm Hazel, I hope you’re having a great day so far… Thanks again for your feedback, so if you’re using paper roll…I’d recommend one seed and for the bottle by itself you can probably put 2-3 seeds The garden is an experimental place so it’s always good to try new stuff to see what works best😊
Such a creative and awesome idea, I'm loving it. ❤ I wish I could send you a photo of the snow we got last night here in Valdosta Georgia 🥶❤

You can also use a long nail heat the tip with a candle, long lighter, gas stove, etc...
OMG, I don’t know how I forgot to mention this.
Thanks for the reminder 😊
Blessings 🙏🏽
Awesome job ❤
Great info, I use toilet paper rolls and bottles as well but you've shown me a new way of folding the toilet paper rolls. We have to save where we can
You’re welcome! We’ve gotta do what we gotta do, right? 👩🌾
