Abandoned Century 3 Mall Walkthrough [May 2023]
Century 3 Mall is beginning to reach Rolling Acres level of rotting. The mall's security has diminished over the past couple years as you can tell by the amount of destruction on the inside. Me and the two people I went with were not alone. You will momentarily hear loud crashing as another two people inside were breaking glass in the walled-off wing.

Lakeforest Mall | From Booming to Bleak in a Handful of Years

This is the Lakeforest Mall in Gaithersburg, MD. In just one year, the mall lost 3 of its 4 anchors. With only Macy's and about 30 other stores, it's certain this mall will be on life support soon. - Music by EarthNet ua-cam.com/video/Pzug3AHujEw/v-deo.html&ab_channel=VaporMemory
Exploring an Abandoned Mid-Century Modern Office Building [With Everything Left Behind]

There is no history on this building that I know of, and I could not find anything about the company posted on the door. I'm assuming this place closed around 2006 based off of the calendar I found inside.

It's been awhile since I've uploaded, but there's not an abundance of dead malls and abandoned locations in close proximity to make a constant flow of content. However, on topic of this video, I really enjoyed checking this place out. It has only been closed for 3 years but the place is in worse shape than some places closed for decades. I explored 4 of the 6 floors (what I believe). I stopped ...

The Last Sears in West PA | Store Walkthrough (Washington Crown Center)
Переглядів 9995 років тому
This is literally the last open Sears in West PA, it feels very weird to actually go to a mall and see an operating Sears. This store opened in the late 60s and you can really see how vintage the exterior design is, and the higher ceilings in the store. This is a relatively small store and is only 1 floor, but it must be doing well. Song: We Are Sears (circa. 1986)

Century 3 Mall Update (2019) + ABANDONED Sears & Macy's Walkthrough
Переглядів 14 тис.6 років тому
2019 is here and the Century 3 Mall remains burden tucked away in West Mifflin, PA with around 10 stores remaining. The mall would likely be closed by now if it weren't for the several sheriff sales being postponed. I missed out on some footage like the 3rd floor and the 2nd floor near JCPenney so I wouldn't create to much suspicion. As well, the Sears and Macy's parts are pretty short and rush...

Crazy to see footage of it because the internet is such a crazy place you can find footage of a place you havnt been to in 25 years. lol
The blacks and the bus line killed this mall. Monroeville mall is next. They are like cockrotch...
Spent a lot of good times at this mall with my friends. Great memories!
I know this was filmed 2 years ago, but I've had personally scary experiences in this place from around 2 years ago and had my first paranormal experience. Did you feel anything while going in there?
1:10 -- people paid like $150 for one of those stars
Genuinely crazy and honestly kind of sad.
What happened to all the bowling pins? I don't see one single one there.
Really hard to watch. I lived around Morgantown, WV - about an hour south. 86..88 - HS friends and I loved to take a road trip to enjoy the sights, sounds, food. Hurts to see it this way.
Hope you didn’t get arrested. This place is condemned. It was the place to be long ago.

So does anyone know what killed Century III mall? Other malls died because of changing demographics and crime or manufacturing closed down in the area. One thing that did NOT help was putting that ugly carpet in. Carpets should never be used in malls. You know peoples kids are going to spill things like smoothies and milkshakes on it.
I miss going to malls and shopping good times i want it back
how much security is usually there?
Stay out of the mall. What don't u understand about that? Stay the fuck out of the mall.
That makes me so sad i grew up there and used to go there all the time as a kid and a teenager 😢
I have fond memories of "mall" times. Now, they seem like ancient ruins😢
Cool video!
you have the best abandoned store walkthrough channel Brandon
the day pizza burgh in Munhall opened! i was there on Dec 8th that year to get a picture with santa claws saw the abandoned Cash-in Culture and SEARS being blocked off and that was when i started to realize this mall is becoming a ghost town! great video!
great job Brandon! i love the footage! this is my favorite out of all the videos you made glad you manage to get inside this beloved mall! 👍
Feels like century lll has been closed for a long time but it’s only been closed for 3 years
I didn’t realize that’s how short of a time span it was. How shameful for the damage that was done by vandals inside… only 3 years for it to look like that… I hate people.
This was the mall we did our Christmas shopping in back in the day. Its so sad they let it go. I remember Moondoggie's Comic Book shop was awesome.
Nice walkthrough!
something tells me you're not even enjoying the sears walkthrough! i also wish i can watch this without the music
The reason why music usually $ucks in dead mall videos is because the copyright Nazis will send the gestapo after the content creators and they’ll get a copyright strike and demonetized. So the content creators are left with non copyrighted music which usually isn’t that great. The big music industry companies should give these dead mall content creators a break because it’s not like they’re losing money if they allowed it because most dead mall content creators are poe and wouldn’t be able to pay the the rights to use their music anyway. Plus it would be like free advertising for their classics introducing young viewers to it who otherwise wouldn’t ever hear it. If dead mall content creators were allowed to play 1980s classics it would definitely enhance the quality of these videos.
I graduated from West Mifflin class of '85. Can't even tell you how many days I spent in this mall in it's heyday. So sad to see it end like this but....that's life. More memories than I can count here.
This and the Denny's down the road were the spot when i was growing up. I spent my pre teen to late adult years at this mall. Most of the time daily. Before they put the sears in there was a huge hill called headbangers hill where all the metal heads and alterna kids hung out. Right inside that entrance was a record store called waxie maxies. They had multiple autograph signings at that store. Pantera and Slayer to name a couple. Even though i was lost and going through alot those were still the best days of my life and i really wish i could go back and relive them. Hit me up if this was your mall too.
Love your videos and glad to see your adventures as well. Thanks for posting this too. Have a nice day now.
Hey any chance I can use this footage for my upcoming video on this mall? I will 100% credit you with the footage
This was our hangout spot in the 90s.. loved this place.
You're lucky you didn't run into any locals in here, I was stabbed here in the early 00's by some thug, that's when the mall was still open, now it's incredibly dangerous because of what happens in here especially at night
Grew up in Mt prospect loved randhurst it was the best
15 minutes of listening to this dude breathing. First 30 seconds was infuriating. Can't keep watching.
Used to go here during its final days as a kid
It’s such a shame to see a once iconic place be reduced to this. The worst part is, it didn’t have to be this way. Granted there were a lot of outside forces that hurt this mall, but by far the worst factor was bad management.
Good video. I use to go there a couple times a month back in its heyday. It was so nice. I bought my wedding dress there. The shop was on the third level. The J. C Penney sign still looks like it’s in good shape. I still have a few things that I purchased at the mall. 😢
How do you get access into these malls
Because it's intriguing
Where is Victorias Secret?
I went to this mall for many years. Lived in a city next to Mt. Prospect. Hung out there as a teen. Really nice mall for its time. I think it was one of the largest malls when it opened. Frequented the Carsons as an adult. I liked your movie. Thanks.
Probably not the smartest thing to do is put a date on when you’re in there. You do know the police are watching the social media platforms.
So did all that shopping just go online, or just evaporate or what. those malls had a lot of stores.
I remember when I always begged my mom to rewind this commercial over and over again😂
you cant tell me there is no entrence to the backrooms there
Somehow that breathing needs to go. Hard to listen to that constantly.
This is just so sad. I grew up spending way too much time here. Started the journey of becoming an arcade advantage player here. Worked here for a year. Learned how to play DDR here. Got all the airbrushing for my costume done here. The day I got back into Nintendo, everything I bought was from the GameStop that was here. So much time just growing up here before everything was online. I remember this mall's decline when you started seeing flagship places like Wendy's bow out. Then KFC. Then half the food court. Definitely getting a "what's the point of it all if everything's going to end up like this" vibe. Also ha 11:40 a penis
I feel great melancholy when seeing the degradation of such a grand building, I makes me sad to think the era of the mall is over and done. Now amazon runs everything and none actually goes to the stores. Heck we didn't even go to shop at malls we went to hang out and eat at the food court. but alas in this digital age which has brought so much progress, things like malls and arcades have been lost to the ever growing evolution of our society. I think how sad it is to hear the echoes of the past in these buildings the once bustling halls now quiet and dark, and the cool and beautiful store fronts now just a shattered façades. It makes me realize how important our time is on this earth, and how we treasure the little things we enjoy while they are around.
For me I remember the mom and pop stores before malls when customer service was king. Malls never had that, you were left to roam through the mall to see if you could find what you were looking for. Prices in malls were also high, remember, guess who paid for all the overhead of shops in malls You did!
Nicely done Brandon!
Just needs a little TLC, then will be back good as new.
Freaking animals who trespass onto private property and vandalize. They need to do 90 days in jail.
