How do you gauge how much you need for your project and can you easily add layers plaster on plaster?
These are the instructions im going to be using. Thank you from Weslaco Texas USA in the Rio Grande Valley 😀
Hard to see in the vid, was that yellow color? I'm trying to anodize daisy yellow color and hoping yellow isn't a hard color
Thank you grandpa, i really needed this for my pottery job and pad printing mugs.
Sulfuric acid is the same thing you use to clean your drains. so it's probably in your cleaning cabinet already.
Another great video from the wonderful, late Ken.
Wonderfull video! The best one! Thanks from Argentina!
Darte las gracias por tu generosidad en dar la información
This was extremely helpful 😊Thankyou
I want that metal container of yours
I was trying to find out if embossing powder is PMMA because nail acrylic powder is and if theyre both the same, you could substitute nail acrylic for embossing powder as its much cheaper. I knew about extracting acrylic polymer from acrylic floor wax with an acid but wondered if these two were the same thing. As I'm not a chemist, its not apparent what the differences between acrylic polymers are and if they all act similarly when heat is applied.
i think it came out good you did a good job
How do you remove the stand?
I don't understand why the hot glue doesn't just flow out the bottom.
How im a kid and I have one of these.
Great and useful video. Any advice for a power supply as in the UK cannot find a 'manual' charger - they all seem to be smart or intelligent and won't work? Trying to find a cheap way of doing this so any examples of ways of doing the process without a charger?
I so deeply regret your passing kind Sir. 😢
Thank you very much!!!!
Rest in Peace,you deserved heaven,god bless you.😢
Which material is the cathode?
Awesome video ken, I have a few small parts from a telescope that I want to match the mount which is red and they are not sold in red so I'm gonna give it a shot. I already have everything needed in my garage all I need is some dye. Thanks for sharing!
Goid go d man get to it. Igot nothing fron this except boring basic knowledge. Get to it.
It might bei better to use copper acetate, verdigris, instead of copper sulfate, If you are concerned about durability.
VERY HELPFULL THANKS !!!
How many minutes it will take to dry
9:55 Sorry, What website ? Carswell ?
20 % by ??? Weight, volume ? Molarity ?
wow thank you Kathy from Cali😎
Bless your heart, this is awesome!
This is absolutely fascinating! I can't wait to learn more about least photography. You've sparked my curiosity!
Hi .. does anyone know if he made other videos on how to make translucent clay? Ken is awesome and I'm so sorry he passed. He was so smart and talented.
He gave some tips on his website. Can’t remember what it was because it is buried in the comments in his blog. Check the description for his blog and scroll through the comments. Someone asked that very same question.
@@sadepennbrook ok thank you
thanks for information btw how many hours it take to fully dry like rock 🪨..?
What!! He past ? I just found him he is cool! Thank you Ken for everything r.i.p.. 🥰🥰🥰 for his family I'm so sorry for your loss. 🥹💞
My God, you have bored me to death with your so slow talking. Just get on with your video without all the chit chat. So glad you are not a teacher, I would be asleep in your class.
Best video
FANTAST!C Thank you GOD BLESS Much LOVE from Brazil
Hi, thank you for the video, it was very informative! I have a question, though. What's the purpose of using glycerin in the solution?
If I'm hearing you correctly you only get two glue sticks as a result of using three glue sticks in the materials. Is that right?
RIP Ken, thank you for your videos.
Creative use of detergent emulsifier. Seems like you have a bit of materials science/engineering background. Thank you Ken :) This is exactly what I was looking for.
I have a question can bentonite clay be a substitute to kaolin clay when making polymer clay?
I was sad to hear of Ken's passing, but I'm glad this resource will live on. He was a talented chemist and artist.
can this process be used for making impression inside body example in an empty eye ball socket?
Thank you for great video, how about using ACRYLIC NAIL POWDER?
Given the cost of monomer, you might as well buy embossing powder!
Do you have any idea on tubes for the mini-glue stick size?
THE BEST VIDEO I HAVE SEEN. You explain exactly the volumes of water and Plaster of Paris in ozs, gms and ml for those of us who are just starting to use Plaster of Paris. THANK YOU.
Good night everyone. sent me straight to sleep
hey Ken, why is it when I calculate I need 2 liters of plaster I always end up with 5 liters of plaster mix, is there a way to calculate how much water to mix with plaster to get say 2 liters of plaster?
Thanks quite informative really helped me nail the mixing. Thank you very much
best one yet
