Im having a hard time understanding this. you said wait for the lye mixture to cool down. So are you heating the lye mixture to 90-100 degrees and then letting it cool for 2 hours then adding it to the oils? im confused
how much fragrance or essential oils do you use for this recipe
Girl, is your soap emulsified? It looks like it didn't even reach trace
It is completely fine to pour at a light trace, especially when working with a soap that is going to thicken up quickly like a sea salt soap.

Sure. Tell yourself that all you want, it just goes to show that some people really are still naive and undereducated. And I am not saying this to attack you!! But sadly there is A LOT in body washes, soaps and shampoos (just like in actual food!) that is toxic and not good for our bodies. Even though we can buy it by no one tells us this. It is worse in the US than in Europe… but on Europe it is still bad enough. Honestly compare the list of chemicals that are banned in Europe (and I mean the chemicals actively put into those products made for consumption and putting on your skin!) to those in the US. The list is super long while the US list is way shorter… and yet a lot of companies that sell in Europe STILL put a lot of chemicals in there that aren’t banned. Please inform yourself a bit on this topic before commenting about how there is nothing toxic in our products… because darling sadly there is SO MUCH in them!!
@@kuroro552no please don’t add on to this misinformation! Yes we all want to feel like what we’re doing is fine… but sometimes it isn’t and we should be honest about that. Many of our products aren’t fine. That’s the sad truth and it has to be shared. Yes it might be uncomfortable to hear but only once people actually know can this be changed for the better!!

Have you tried the CeraVe hydrating soap bar? I find that it doesn't feel super stripping like normal soap does so I don't feel like my skin is super dry. I'd recommend it if you haven't tried it yet :)

You do not need a plot of land to make soap! It doesn’t need tons of space and ingredients are easily available!
