C'est une bonne vision des choses. Souvent on pense que l'herbe est plus verte ailleurs et un jour on découvre que sa vie c'est essentiellement ce qu'on on fait nous même et qu'elle nous appartient. Maintenant à l'instant T j'apprends le chinois (ou devrais je dire j'essaye car c'est tellement différent des langues européennes et africaines !) et je me plonge dans la culture chinoise, mon dieu que c'est riche ! Takes 2 to 10 hours to learn all the syllabals in Korean after that you just learn words and phrases but takes 2 to 10 years to learn most of the characters (read/write) in mandarin depending on the intensity of learning. Makes you wonder why not just use pinyin with tones. Such a waste of time, you can get a full time profession in the time you learn character writing.

I use the Pleco dictionary. It is an app and operates exactly like a paper dictionary but contains far more words than paper dictionary. It was very expensive but I couldn’t live without it when I visit China. I have a Chinese wife. Pleco is amazing and best ever created it costs about $100USA 弟 it took me 2 seconds to look it up. I just type in pinyin 山 to me about 3 seconds to look up. I just hand write it into the app with my finger and quickly locate it. 酸 this took about 10 sec bc I had to think for a second in terms of the radicals bc I know all 214 of them and the faster you can identify them mentally the faster you can scribble out the full character into Pleco. 梨 took just a few seconds - there are 3 radicals Thanks for video I always wanted to see somebody talk us through a paper dictionary Take a look at JAMES HEISIG REMEMBERING THE HANZI. It changed my life. That with Pleco was and is ultimate entry into mandarin for me

Hello, do you have any idea for which book or source i can use to learn the origin of chinese language, for example i want to learn anything similar with 心 which is heart and if i mix with another word, that would mean something regarded with emotion.

🤯A buddy of mine, American, lives in Japan and speaks fluently but he studied Chinese in university FIRST before switching and knew SO many hanzi. Running around with him in Japan, I was always so jealous that he could read and pronounce most kanji using this similar method. Instant sub. 谢谢老师🙏🏾
