I let out a laugh when I saw Ham just straight up fall from the cliff. Like, Luna got to safely land, but Ham had to take that fall like a GTA Ragdoll. How did he not break every bone in his body, let alone his arm, considering he didn't just bellyflop, it looked like he landed on an angle.

I always thought Planet 51 was alright. Definitely not a masterpiece, but I didn't hate it. There's absolutely worse animated movies than this out there that I don't think it deserves the rotten score it has.

I did a rewatch last summer of every Tom Baker serial, and as cliche as it is, this still remains my favourite of his era, and probably of classic who. It’s a perfect script and production, fantastic stuff. Although Deadly Assassin came very close for me

7:27 i don't want to push the interpretation too far, but considering many 50s and 60s alien movie are representing the US fear of communism, maybe this movie is taking this as a joke and makes a "satire" of the American's paranoia towards a communist infiltration in the 50s

So I was today years old when I realised Charles T. Baker was voiced by the rock... Which is weird because I can usually always pick when a character is played by the rock (mostly because they always just end up being the rock... -_-)

I Thought Ham was Voiced by Tom Kenny and Zartog was Voiced by John DiMaggio

I’m surprised to realize this wasn’t a Nickelodeon movie. Mentioning Kids Choice Awards, the art style, and the humor felt like Nick so I always wondered what people expected.

I didn’t even remember that the Rock was in this movie lol. The 2000s had a lot of underrated animated movies tbh, like the movie 9 (which ironically enough was also released in 2009) that I always talk about because the Fabrication Machine.

Out of all the somewhat problematic issues with the film, the pearl clutch mafia went at the least offensive one? It's one of those cases where the complaint is potentially more offensive to the group it is trying to champion, than what it is referencing 😁

I never understood why people seem to hate this movie. I have a lot of fun with it, of course, it's far from being an animated masterpiece, but still, is an enjoyable movie. Also when I was a kid, that "3rd Antenna" joke cracked me up (and still does) 😂 How was that in a children's movie ?

This was a movie I watched as a kid after moving while my TV wasn't operational regarding channels. It's alright I'd rather watch it than the recent (unwanted) sequels

I don't know why people actually "hated" the movie. If it's unoriginal, then what story did they stole? I'm far away from America so I really have no idea, even with internet. If it's a bad movie then why the animation is on par or even surpassing recent releases? If its not suitable to kids, then why my parents allowed me to watch with family on public channel? If it's a cash grab, then why it's so well made for its budget? If it's heinous then please informed me on what did it do wrong. I never heard about this movie being bad and after watching it, I became even more confused on why it is bad. The most clue I get are from IMDb, but most of them didn't go into detail well enough and the rest of the reviews are just people masking off.

This film was so poorly marketed and received lower box office results, it ended up being taken out after 2 weeks
