Yeet Cannon unboxing and range review
This is the legendary Hi-Point Yeet Cannon 9mm. The firearm that gun snobs love to hate! This is my take on it, bought with my own money.

Trying out Pro PCTG - Is it ghostgun worthy?
Переглядів 1,9 тис.Місяць тому
In my search for the perfect material for my handbuilt handgun hobby where I 3d print the lower frame and build the G19 strictly for my own knowledge and use I have come upon another filament type with promise; Pro PCTG from 3d fuel. Is it as good as the label says? Will it hold up under pressure? Let's find out!
AR pistol repaired and reviewed

So another loaner from a friend who needed a little help with his firearms. This AR pistol was built from a PSA kit and once I ironed out the mistake someone had made I found it to be well worth the effort.

i keep hearing yuou need to jack the bolt back and leave it like that for a long time to get it broke in
Good video 📷
Great review. Very Interesting little pistol.
Very Nice ! I just placed an order with 3D Fuel myself yesterday for a bunch of their PCTG in different colors. I wanted something more durable and UV resistant and it looks perfect for the pew pews as well.
Good review! I would like to try this gun for $199. Interesting about the mag.
What no elk and bed temp did you end up needing? I have tried it at 260° and I assumed the stringy buggery stuff was because I needed more heat. However I need firmware to get more heat out of my upgraded hot end and that is seeming to be a real issue. Any help would be appreciated.
I have the same exact gun but mine is silver and black that has never cycled around through it ever since. I took it out the first time. It will not go into battery. You have to manually run the bolt
Bravooo wonderful video have a nice day ❤❤❤
I didn’t have any issues with ejection, but when I installed my charging handle I removed the grip and barrel. Also only loaded 4 in the factory mag with 2 3/4 shells. No problems with cycling or ejection. Does great with the 10 round mag and 20 round drum
It could be your ammo get the good stuff that’s why it’s not cycling
Awesome 👌 i just got a tar12 today cant wait to hit the range!
It scares me , so many people have guns and should not !! This is not good 😮 !!!
what makes you say I should not have guns? Have I done something?
How's it holding up today? I'm curious because I'm getting a picatinny rail made out of this filament. Also, look into Renaissance Wax for protection. It's natural wax so it won't mess with plastic, and gun owners use it a lot for rust protection so it might help with reducing moist absorbtion.
Thank you for that information. Sounds like something I need to look into. Oh and yes its holding up good. Although its not the most reliable semiauto 22lr handgun I ever used.
Just the video I was looking for. I'm giving PCTG a go on my projects and wanted to know how this material performed for you over time. How long did it remain useable? Did it exhibit any cracking or other defects over time? Are you still using this filament for your projects? If not, what filament have you moved on to? TIA for some feedback.
So yes it did crack and not long after I posted this video. A few days after posting this video I took that same gun down on my range and put a 33 round mag through and when came to the bottom I looked at the gun and it was cracked around the barrel catch. Still shootable but not ideal. LOL but i love that color so much I imediately replaced it. Can't wait for first chance to go out and shoot that one till it breaks.😅 Lately I have been printing with this new material they are useing to make airless basketballs. It's called PLA-HF. Man that stuff is indestructable. But I suspect it will be to flexible for firearms. I will try it anyway. But I hope they come out with a version that has CF in it. That should give it the extra stiffness we need.
Thanks for the report. I heard good things about PET-CF which is just barely printable on 300C non-enclosed machines; however, the surface finish it produced for me was WAY to rough. I could've made some mistakes in the slicer settings or the machine setup, so perhaps I'll circle back to this at some point and try again. If the PCTG ends up destroying itself I'll probably revert to the best PLA I can find in order to gain some actual range experience with these poly frames and lowers. I don't remember the color you used but if it's the OD green I agree - I have this and the color is perfect! I also reduced the extrusion multiplier to 0.95 to eliminate the PCTG blobs.
I’m having feeding issues with mine unless I use high brass. What did you do to fix this issue?
2000 grit sandpaper and Mothers aluminum polish. I polished the rough area inside the chamber which I pointed out in the video.
I just bought the same gun and I’m clueless on what the part is but it came with a what looks like stainless steel part kinda looks like a choke but not as long but has no threads on it and it said heavy loads on it does anyone know what it could be for
Same here. I’m setting mine up today and I don’t know what that part is.
Same here what is it for I have not read anything about it
I back off the flow rate to 95% when printing PETG or PCTG and print on the cooler side, especially if your melt zone is longer than a standard V6. Beautiful prints with no more nozzle boogers. I also print frames with the mag well down. This makes the internals come out perfect and the large underside areas that are supported come clean easily.
HELP.... New gun owner to be here, looking at this one, its looks great, but I'm a lil hesitant, can i get some recommendations guys? Yes or no on this shotgun & does anyone recommend a great first gun thats pretty similar to this. Fyi I'm 6"1' & 230lbs
dry filaments before printing
Its insanely expensive at the moment but I think Tullomer will be the future
Wow, Nice material , but talk about expensive! Tullomer at $550.00 a KG Its going to be a long road for that to come down to anything close to viable price per KG. Might as well buy a chunk of 6061 and have it milled it would be more cost effective on this lower frame.
@PatriotPaulUSA yeah it's expensive currently but they are saying that they should have the price to go down over time as this material is very new.
ua-cam.com/video/e55lX6HIcRQ/v-deo.html PETGvsPCTG very informative.
You should try PETG-CF and PPA-CF. The PPA-CF is much harder to finish but is super strong.
I actually did try PETG-CF on an AR15 build and it busted in half on the first shot. Man that stuff sure prints out real pretty though. Anyway I posted the video footage of that experiment here on youtube and they gave me a warning and took it down just a few weeks ago. Actually I have used CF nylons on gun lowers and it seems to be great. I have an AR and a g19 clone made of PA-12. Just such a pain to print with because its prone to warp and so touchy about moisture. Also nylons have creep issues which of course renders a gun inoperable after some time.
@@ObservantSeedsower decrease your layer height I used .18 vs .20 and reduce cooling to get better layer adhesion. When it is printed this way it makes it very strong. My PPA-CF prints are a pain in the ass because they need a lot of fine dremel work for clearances.
@@donovanmcmullin8495 It actually broke across the layers so it wasn't about layer adhesion. That is good advice though. thanks.
I assume the purple frame is made from pla. Hard to tell but it appears your rails are warped. Once of the downsides of PLA its low tolerance for temperature changes. For this and strength reasons Im seeking something better. Pet-Cf so far seems very promising, I'll know soon. i am curious how the PCTG works for you. Cant wait to see it.
Nice "Art Work"
This is a nice design! I occasionally draw guns in my manga, so I'll use these as a reference once is a while. ^^
Funny I saw this, I'm making a web comic of a foreigner that joins the Japanese mafia and one of the scandals he gets into is 3D printing Guns for the black market. I was doing research on the topic so I can make it accurate in my web comic and clicked on this video, two of a kind here !!!! lol
@@leanmeanmememachine323 Hah! Nice! ^^
You have to take the extension out of the mag tube unscrew the end and get a flat head to push down and pop out the plastic part and grab the rod out and screw back on 4+1
I appreciate how thorough you are and enjoyed this very much!
Hey I have one more suggestion. Pet-CF its extremely strong and heat resistant comparable to the nylon/cf filaments. ....BUT its almost as easy and forgiving to print as PLA. Some preliminary tests show their claims are very true. I print mine in an enclosed printer but many have said you don't need an enclosure. Its also not nearly as expensive as most other engineering style filaments. I piked up a 1kg roll for 40dollars and its very worth it . If you ever get around to printing more , might wanna give it a try. Take care.
@bombswabs3041 thanks. I recently tried pctg pro by 3d fuel and so far find it to be promising
Thankyou for making this video. I too want something more tolerant to heat. Unless Im missing something there is way too much bias for PLA likely due to its popularity and ease of print. That said PLA can be annealed for a much greater heat tolerance. Shrinkage from anealing must be factored in the design before starting the print making it somewhat complex. Good luck.
Need higher brass shells. 2 3/4 shell with higher velocity to move the bolt back. Anything AR platform just like the 50 AE DE with that bolt you need high pressure to move it back. Lower velocity rounds will not cut it in those AR style weapons. Also clean it and oil it properly. And new weapons need at least 100 rounds through them to be properly broken in. To function properly.
What did you do to fix it and what was wrong with it?
I made a video showing how I fixed ua-cam.com/video/XvbcMVnyVPw/v-deo.htmlsi=bHIpfFFz4wxT75fe 3:40 hope that helps, to see what was wrong watch the review video.
3 inch high brass it will run no birdshot break it in first couple hundred rounds high brass then try birdshot always oil first it’s brand new
Start out with high velocity high brass to break it in. It will cycle. I ran 50 rounds of 00 buckshot and mixed it up from there. I do like the JTS model a lot more.
Howdy, Brother! The info you provide to end users is much appreciated. Question: What would be your choice between the Tokarev TAR 12P and the Tokarev TAR TT12?
@RKELLEHER40 hi I'm not familiar with the TAR Tt12. So I can't really help with that.
Nice
É oq rapá 😂
Can't waste my time hearing you talk instead of the unboxing
Before you send it back try high power high brass shotgun shells 2 3/4” or at least one 3” magnum #4 birdshot load . Just to see if the more powerful shells will make it cycle . The low brass #8 birdshot loads may be too weak to force the action back .
Not enough power in those low brass shells to make the gun cycle properly. You need high brass high power or the three inch magnum shotgun shells to make it cycle properly.
Funny video!
😂😂Русский оружейник Токарев здесь вообще не причëм, смех да и только
Take an inexpensive Russian MP-155/75/20 magnum caliber. Shoot 25-50 magnum rounds (shot load 32 grams) and then disassemble it and lubricate it, and then the rounds with 20-32 grams of shot will reload themselves. And you will be happy! Good luck.

Should ask the guy you got it from and ask him if it supposed to cycle or not
