It’s a great two pack. It’s good to see the international flavor continues as Big Ben is joined by Quarrel. Big surprise and a welcome one. Most of the sub-lines are repaint city. At least they mix them up into interesting combinations. Shooters upper torso on Scarlet is working ok. The Night Force group is shaping up quite nicely.
I'll be grabbing them. I dip into the sub-lines here and there as I see fit and I can make a great mainline Falcon and still have a great kit-bash buck at my disposal too. :)
I'm so happy not for the fact that this is supporting my addiction to toys, but the fact that it looks like Lt Falcon kicked his habit of spark. He already looks 10 years younger than his last figure!
Yeah - I don't mind it so much either. I think I laid it on a bit too thick in the video and created an impression I've got a massive problem with it. I mean... I'd prefer new stuff, but I totally get it for a subline like this.
I pre-ordered a couple….this head sculpt is really good….anything is better than the first Falcon head sculpt, I put an extra Grunt head on mine but now I can swap this head on the first Falcon, then I will keep the helmet head on the other body, I think that should be possible. I don’t know much about Quarrel but I always like when they get different characters into the line.
Quarrel is a UK Action force legend over here - I'm very pleased to see her in the line, even if it is a total Scarlett re-paint LOL You & I, like many, will be swapping that head ASAP the minute it arrives LOL! It looks MUCH better.
I was hoping to get your take on Quarrel knowing she was a UK character, so thanks for doing this video. I'm definitely interested in this two pack. Obviously the new Falcon head is a big draw, and I actually think Quarrel looks cool. At the very least she can help even out the squad a bit more. Seems like the Hasbro team has had an easier time adding female characters to the Cobra side since they can be nameless grunts for the most part.
100% a new female is a boon for the Joe side of the display for sure. If anything my concern (which I didn't express in the vid) is the practical issues I had with Scarlett - she doesn't stand so good and the quiver on her hip is a bit awkward. AND the leotard looks weird to me on Quarrel. But those are quibbles - I'll be grabbing this for sure!
@@MoDXtraGC Think about it brother. I get the whole thing with collectors wanting the perfect scan for every figure. But if you group a few people together, you’re going to at least get one ugly mofo🤣🤣🤣.
Falcon never should’ve been made with that original body I believe Recondo shared it I prefer this plus opens the door for the long awaited Night force Outback
Yeah - I wonder what's depicted on Falcon's t-shirt under the vest? It doesn't look like it's "Survival"? Could be an Outback clue tucked away under there...
