My solution is probably the most expensive. I have a Boss RC505 Mk2 looper that I go mic in and then out of the looper into Tascam 😂Of course I didn't plan it that way, it was more about having this unit in the back of my gear closet for a while then realizing its actually a really nice piece of equipment that I should use

Learned everything from you on how to use my dp-008ex , just upgrade to a model 12, but seems I can't assign track to whatever channel I want to record to, I have to unplug the mic and plug into the channel I want to record on and that's disappointing, is there a way to assign tracks? Another thing, how to connect the model 12 to Android phone to get that clear audio, thanks man

How come my delay and reverb wont record onto my DAW? The tracks go in wet but record dry. I'm going insane here!

Micro USB is the worst connector and the variation of quality on the supply side for the connectors is still terrible. The whole connector was poorly designed. Those 90° micro connectors that are reversible are the first improvement I've seen in the connector since their existence.

I liked the extra bass of the 57 but you could just get the behry and then raise that bass on the EQ. Front mics hold up suprisingly well. What are some ways to get the dp-008ex closer? I use a drum mic stand because I work in a small corner

It's a great pedal. I'm a Kemper owner and it stacks up really well. The software sucks. I upgraded to V2.0.1 and it made the pedal unusable. I love the pedal, but I was going go send it back. Fortunately I was able to downgrade the software to V1.0.0 and the pedal was good again. As you are pointing out, there are bugs in the software. The pedal is great so I will live with the bugs for now, but I just hope NUX can sort it out and turn the pedal into what it should be . Thanks for your video, it confirms what I thought.

So you *can* route multitrack audio, via USB back from the mixer to a DAW. I can't work out how to do it in Live, and Tascam have emailed me and told me its not possible. Whats going on here?

When bouncing multiple tracks, does the reverb print on the new track? For example, if I have reverb on a vocal, but none on the guitar, does that carry over to the new bounce track?

Can't get the FX to work. Followed these exactly. Can't get it to playback Bluetooth audio from my iPad on channels 9/10 either even though it's paired. Yes, the switches are on Live.

I have this exact machine. You don’t lose fidelity. But the volume is definitely lower. You have to turn up the volume on the bounced tracks.

have u tried it with an acoustic guitar? would u recommend this over pod go?

So I'm an idiot!! I put the wrong power lead in my Tascam - & now it won't work - is it beyond repair?? It smelled of burning.

I like you info, but here is a question. I recorded 3 hours 28 minutes of a band practice, 18 songs with several minutes in between each song. Is there a way to take each song copy it and send it to the band mates without mixing and mastering each song? Your videos have helped me navigate the tascam DP008EX but I have not tried this idea.

Thanks for these videos. I have the DP-03SD, but most of the stuff in your series is applicable to that machine too - and better presented than any other tutorials I've seen, for either recorder. Only thing that's different is that the 03SD doesn't have the Input Dynamics settings, which would be really helpful! Hey ho!

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO. I am sure there is a reason Tascam did this but I am not too sure why we have to listen to the music again while we are mixing down, etc. I just wish there was an option where you can export the current recordings as a wave/mp3, etc. without having to listen to the whole thing (in case you left recorder on and just wanted to export it all to wave/MP3,etc.). Once again THANK YOU!

Do you have to setup time beforehand or is it free recording. I mean some DAWS require a click track you must stay within that time restraint. But being this is NOT a computer or DAW recording, I’m assuming no click track and free to record any time signature ? Thanks !

Imo the mic'd cab sounded better, but I think that was because it also picked up the resonance of the room, and seemed to have a wider, more full sound, not that I know what I'm talking about lol.

How do you get songs off it besides a computer? Can you send it to a phone?
