Was always a huge Sylvanas fan, I hate that they turned her into a villian in shadowlands. And when I say I am a huge sylvanus fan. I started WoW in TBC as a blood elf rogue, and even when overwatch came out. My profile pic during beta was Sylvanus's hooded head. Now that they have dropped the WoW cross over of course I needed my Queen. She will always be Queen to me, my banshee Queen. One of the only characters I ever felt a deep connection with <3 Love this song

It deeply pains me that both figures are often misunderstood and perceived as villains. Their actions may seem extreme or controversial at first glance, but they are expressions of profound, unconditional love. They demonstrate what it means to risk everything for those dear to you, and that true heroism often emerges in the darkest moments and the toughest decisions. Arthas and Anakin remind us that heroes cannot always be measured by conventional standards. Their sacrifices, their love, and their relentless struggle against injustice are testaments to an indomitable spirit and deep responsibility. It is a tragedy that their true greatness is often overlooked. I admire them deeply for their willingness to sacrifice and their unwavering courage, and I hope their stories will one day be seen in a light that reflects their true heroism.

It's kind of heartbreaking to see how much WoW has changed. Felt like Legion was the last big hurrah and then...wtf happened? The lore, the game design, the aesthetic. Everything just went to crap so suddenly. Not to say WoW didn't have rough spots before: WoD was pretty terrible, and Cata/MoP both had their share of spottiness, but at least there was always a sort of "soul" to it that kept me coming back. I played Classic when it came out and it was bittersweet. Finished all the raids, got my BiS, had a great time even though I played a ret pally lol. Still, I quit after it moved on as I knew WoW as a setting had moved on from the great background and worldbuilding it once had. Better to end on a good note at least, and I made close friends throughout my history with the game that I still hang out with to this day, so I can't say I felt cheated. Just disappointed where it went.

Reminds me of simpler times when Blizzard cared about their world, their characters, their stories and what defined these characters... I'm a huge lore guy and the entire story of the Highborne from the struggles against the Amani tribes and founding their glorious and prosperous kingdom Quel'thalas, to the downfall of the Sunwell at the hands of Arthas. To me, the depth behind how the Sin'dorei became who they are today, never ever ceases to touch my heart. Selama Ashal'anore, Remember the Sunwell.

When it dropped for me, I played this for all week long

i always hated sylvanas, her actions her motivation, never knew what she is rly up to, but i loved how her character was build. this special song always touches something inside my soul. it reminds me of a single flower over a dead, abounded graveyard, a little ray of light in the deep never ending darkness. but the writers of wow did us wrong making her warchief. she never deserved that honor, she never was rdy to lead the horde.

I hate to say that, but Arthas is an hroic fantasy version of Darth Vador, with a story even more dramatic..

For those who do not know, this song is not really about Sylvanas, rather it is all about the Blood Elves, and specifically the great invasion of Silvermoon City, in which the Scourge destroyed half the city and killed about 90% of all Blood Elves. The Sin'dorei would never truly recover from this slaughter, and Sylvanas, as we all know, would suffer more than any other elf.

soon it will end again with the end of WotLK classic. It is hard to watch the best MMO ever end a second time. The six years from vanilla to the end of WotLK will be forever my favorite gaming experience. It is not possible to say in words how much I loved this game and how far it went down afterwards. Sure we had a few good expansions afterwards but they were always hold back by some incredible stupid game designs. We never reached the same quality again.

I quit WoW after over a decade of constant play, I still come back to this track...
