Dead Rising 1 Mutiny/Request Item Glitch
If you frame perfectly give an item to a survivor as part of a request or mutiny or as part of Ronald's mission it won't swap from talk to give fast enough and will treat it as if you're not holding the item.

Meh run. Queen dupe was almost perfect rusty gameplay kept this from being a good run.

I constantly see people say this as if it's fact when basic testing confirms it isn't. Even on the wiki it said this wrong information right at the top and below in the notes sections actually giving the correct answer. The survivors die in roughly 2:48 after leaving from my testing. A 3 second grace period from the load and 2:45 for their health to fully deplete.
DR1 AllScoops NG Brock No Somersault Backup

There's a 3/5 chance at the end of the run you don't get Somersault Kick so this is a backup that's about 2.5 seconds slower.

Sub 2:03 is probably possible my fastest Isabella zombie kill time is 4.22 and even that could probably be faster so you only need to save roughly .1 seconds somewhere else.

Have only one log in your inventory.
This is the main reason why people use herb and swamp tar because you can bring one clean herb and have backup dirty herbs in case you mess up. I'm using logs because herbs are very scarce as an iron.
This is very helpful, only issue, I use this on Xbox 360 so I have no way of changing to 30 fps. So it's a bit more challenging but it works

Triggering a boss death cutscene causes you to drop whatever survivor you hold on the next load.

Man I wish there was like a nap timeskip mechanic or somethin' dumb to make deadrising speedruns possible. Just imagine the insane tech that could be used in a true ending any percent speedrun

Right at the beginning of the game there's a survivor with a shotgun, once he dies you can take it from him and get to keep it early on
@@_RodneyMorash I'm well aware of the starting shotgun but those are meant for close range! How did he just destroy Carlito in 4 shots while he has the balcony for some sort of cover?!

I thought it was like coded that you always end the fight with one health cuz that's how it always went for me. But I was always trying to punch him or lariat, I had no idea the leg sweep was the strongest attack in the game.

Yes. As long as any survivor is past the opening of the hangar area they will make it into Paradise.

Also if you wait long enough leisure park the clock tower bell will go off. It stops after like 15 seconds but tbh it is pretty cool to hear and I think the same for the buzzer.
I dont think it's waiting long enough rather it probably happens at a specific time. I heard it for the first time the other day when I was skating through Leisure Park and was probably only there for about a minute
