I finally got the one i was meant to inherit from my Great Uncle, it has the original Tecumseh engine and it still runs!. I need new tires, new brakes, new wiring harness for the electric start. But I am so looking forward to tearing into it and making him proud every time I crank it up. If you have any places i can find these parts I would appreciate it,
I get my parts from gopowersports , but some of the old stuff , I look on Facebook marketplace , on the old minibike pages , good luck on your build , and have fun 👍
Nice machine. I guess its more of a pavement machine. The forks would probably take a beating offroad.

There was 2 models of this bike , one came with jackshaft and the other didn’t , but you see jackshafts on a lot of off road bikes

Man leave the Turbo Thrift 230 in it, leave the wheel covers on it and just shoot clear coat on it and enjoy it. We have an old Bonneville that we re did the interior, found an FM converter to use with the original radio, and put some vice grip garage shine juice on it . Makes it perfect for cruz-in s because you can park it and walk around and forget it, not like our Camaro where you have to watch over it. Great find. Enjoy your Be lair

Does anybody know where you can get the spacer he put inside of the hub that goes to the wheel bearings? I bought one of these minibikes restoring it but mine does not have the spacer. Thank you.
@@kevinbell9046 you can find tubing the size of your bolts and make them , tractor supply has tubing
