That's why I'm waiting for Witcher 1 remake. Soon Witcher 2 remake will follow. Those games arr too old for me in terms of combat qnd graphics. Witcher 3 still looks decent and the combat is way smoother, especially when you have Whirl.

i just got KCD 1 for 6 dollars 3-4 days ago. I am finally able to combat almost anyone, own with the longbow and run around with horse and having relaxing music moments. I love this game. Best game since red dead 2 , cyberpunk and avatar. Love the story and game world. I am SOOOOOOOOOO EXCITED for KCD 2 !!!!!!!!!!

It took 6 years for me to learn that the original Kingdom Come Deliverance also had Riposte but it's locked out for some reason and you need a mod to unlock it on Defense perks.. it's a bit jaggy but it works.

Again, everytime I see something like "The first game has one of the most in depth skill based historically accurate mele system" , it reminds me how I (and probably most of pepole did) through the game: hit Q when seeing green square. The problem with kcd 1 is that in mid/late games (so noteagainst peasants or random bandits), enemies will block/perfect block and master strike back 70%+ of times so you are punished for any aggressive attempt. Every video on KCD 2 is talking about how 5 directions is reduced to 4, and how many more varieties combos we can have, how "difficulties are ramped up through the game gradually", but these were never the problems. There are certain KCD1 mechansims force players to be passive and I hope these frustrating points are resolved. Otherwise, you said now "mastter striker doesn't work 100%"?, I would then imagine instead of pressing Q everytime seeing a green square. In KCD2, eventually we will also repeatedly press another sequence of keys when seeing some other cues.

I mean the 1v1 combat is alright. Its clunky with stupid slowmos weird sound designs muted attacks and silent hits etc but you can sorta get through it. Multiple people like in the trailer is just a straight lie. fighting more than 1 person is terrible I just ended up becoming a horse archer by the end as its way more fun and doesnt not even lying take 10 minutes to kill an armoured enemy

I cant wait for everyone to buy this then refund it. The first game was some of the worst experiences i had playing an rpg. I wouldnt call it rage quit as i put nearly 200 hours into playing this headache of a game, id say the game is just too janky to run and penalize me for having fun.Remove the combat and the lockpicking and you might have a decent walking sim. Buyer Beware

im a fan of obsidian i play outer world, f new vegas, tyranny, pillar 1, and 2 planning on playing this but after obsidian showing their true skin? Art director confessed to discriminatory policies in hiring based on race. Sadly it's imoral to support this game. Obsidian at the moment still hasen't condemmned this pratice.

Was looking forward to this rpg, but after seeing the woke injections from the art director I just am gonna pass and focus on other projects. Devs end up spending way too much time injecting modern politics and issue instead of just crafting a legit experience in the game. It’s a pass for me

This is just a worst skyrim with 5 yo graphics that seems to play meh and made for modern audiences. I personally put a lot of weight on the characters and they look terrible, I'm pretty sure they'll be written just as badly as they look. I really like fantasy RPGs, it's unfortunate :/

I'm just glad there are other games coming out so i can ignore this game in peace. I am in no way interested in financially supporting a studio that allows their employees to be openly racist in context of their professional function. If they fire the art director i might consider it.
