    Awesome video :) I'm a trans guy who's 8 months on trans guy who's almost 9 months on T and I loe. Seeing other transmascs talk about their experiences since I'm the only one who I know irl that is medically transitioning right now. I also really related to the stuff you said about being a trans guy that does drag, now that I feel more masculine and more comfortable in my body I love dressing in drag and woudl love to perform some day. You look great dude thank you 🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈💙💙💙

      if you truly thought he was awesome the way he is, you'd be happy that he finally found himself and is able to blossom through a, i'm guessing much wanted and needed, second puberty! it's quite a wonderful thing and more often than not tied to many happy feelings :D being trans wouldn't be so hard if it weren't for systemic discrimination and people trying to drag us down whereever we go. medical transition saves lifes and i hope someday you will see the beauty of it too for those who's journey was set on this path.

      @@skilldeadly8888 It's not trendy, people now just have more means to get what they need in some countries without them getting literally killed. Of course that will make detransitioning cases pop up more often. It's like being surprised that more people get into car accidents if a population has a higher number of cars. I'm not sure if you understand how hard it is to get access to trans healthcare such as HRT, even in countries where it's not criminalized. The process is long and you talk to many psychological and medical proffessionals. It's not an easy desicion, being trans and deciding to socially and medically transition is potentially saying goodbye to safety in a lot of places and many loved ones. Trans healthcare decreases suicide attempts by over 40%. The imagined possibility of a lot more detransitioning cases in 20 years is overshadowed by the fact that trans healthcare saves lifes. Alive we at least get the chance to regret something.

      @@arronthomas68 It's truly astonishing how you seem to think you know better than the person in the video about their own happiness and identity. Your analogy comparing a young trans man's journey to substance abuse is not only misguided but deeply offensive. Unlike your baseless assumptions, this young man is living his truth and showing more courage and authenticity than most people ever will. Watching someone embrace their true self is far from "abuse" or "predatory." In fact, the real abuse comes from forcing people into boxes that don't fit them. This young man radiates joy and confidence, which is a clear sign of someone who is thriving, not miserable. You wish no harm, yet your words are harmful. They perpetuate stigma and misunderstanding that can cause real pain and suffering. The medical community supports and understands the benefits of gender-affirming care, which has been shown to significantly improve the mental health and well-being of transgender individuals. Your comment reveals more about your ignorance and unwillingness to understand than it does about the life of the young man in the video. Perhaps instead of spreading negativity, you could take a moment to listen, learn, and appreciate the diversity of human experience. The trend you speak of isn't going away in 3-5 years because it's not a trend-it's people living their authentic lives. It's time to accept that and move on.

      @@SleepInVomit yes, there is when you take testosteron (or estrogen if you are a trans woman), it starts a second puberty that ofc wouldn't be possible without the hormone therapy. your body goes through a second puberty and once it did, some changes from the hormone therapy are irreversible exactly BECAUSE your body went through that new puberty. also, it's definetly not a now type of thinking because a lot of trans people have to sacrifice things in the now. safety, friends and family (if they are hateful), sometimes even financial stability. those aren't things you give up just for funsies. it took me over 3 years of thinking and making sure i'm really trans until i came out to my family and for a person to start their medical transition, they have to talk to many doctors and therapists. those talks very much include reflecting about the future. i hope you start having more compassion for the things you may not fully understand. we dont ask anybody to fully get it, just treat us like you would any other human being, with respect and dignity.

    Dear naysayers: ❤️ Hormones have been helping many people since the 60s 🧡 Its completely normal to feel confused, concerned or frightened when discovering new information, that doesn't make it bad or untrue. 💛 If you are experiencing negative feelings, take a moment to reflect on why? 💚 Not all trans people go on hormones, this doesn't make a person more or less trans. Each person's journey is their own. Not everyone medically transitions and that is totally fine. 💙 Trans people are just like anyone else, they have hopes, dreams, fears, etc. some of us are awesome and kind, some of us are assholes and most of us, like most people in the world are just trying their best with what they have. 💜 Trans people are people. Remember that when you go to comment or to share your opinion, how would you feel if someone attacked your own gender identity or something that is part of the foundation of who you are. 🤍 Lastly,✌️&🫰, ☮️ & 🩷, 🕊️&🖤

      You asssume that people reject these ideas because we fear, are uncomfortable with or are frightened by "discovering new information" or have personal issues that we need to reflect on. That's a huge assumption to make. It never occurs to you that some people have just come to a different conclusion than you after looking at the information. You should also consider that disagreement is not a personal attack, and that other people are entitled to critique and reject these ideas, because they're not just about you and your personal 'identity', but about all of us and how we're defined, including in policy and law. The rest of your comment was unneccesary. We all know supposed 'trans' people are just people like anyone else. That's not the issue. The issue is these ideas and how the effect all of our lives and rights.

    I’m a gay masculine man, I just want to say be careful. The gay “community” is full of hate and toxicity. The long term use of hormones is also sketchy, I think therapy and finding uniqueness in your skin will make you happy, not injecting hormones. Crazy world we live in.

    • @theythemgae9025
      @theythemgae9025 8 місяців тому

      Nah, hormones have been prescribed since the 60s saying it's sketchy when there's decades of research is just unnecessary. You're allowed to be ignorant about something you haven't researched or experienced but don't act like an authority making up facts. It's not helpful and all it does is undermine your opinion. Whether you're lying intentionally or just repeating something you've heard somewhere, you come off like you feel other people shouldn't go on hormones because it makes you feel uncomfortable rather than there being any scientific reasoning behind your concern. Trans people who feel that hormones are necessary to their own comfort and health does not negatively impact you in any way. Telling trans people they're hurting themselves while they're doing something that makes them feel normal does not help anyone.

    • @joshuaadams6565
      @joshuaadams6565 8 місяців тому

      That’s like me saying “you don’t have to be gay, find uniqueness and live a life of celibacy”. I’m sure you can get therapy and eventually feel comfortable living without your gay thoughts. Sounds nice? No. That would be hateful and toxic. Sounds like the call is coming from inside the house.

    No matter how much you change your appearance, your voice, your hormones, you will always be what you were when you were born. Once this phase of stupidity has ended, you will notice that you cannot be the person you were born as. That is when you will regret every single thing you did. You are not mature enough to accept this, as you are following a trend in your social and personal life. You will kid yourself that this is right for you, many out here in the real world know this to be the truth. Chances are you were born to be a lesbian, that's fine, todo what you are doing is killing your life. Another question would be, are you on the spectrum, if so, this is one of the reasons you are following this mentally disturbed approach to your life. Putting this on UA-cam also disturbs me, you are showing the obvious signs of attention seeking and trying to seek confirmation of what you are doing.

    Well i have no problem with what you are doing, i can't imagine how awful true body dysmorphia is. So bloody good luck. I do object to the term Cis male however, men are not cis any thing and the term is used to denigrate men, and as you come out more to strangers (male) you should find we don't have problems with your choices and 90% will not be hostile. Live our best life and let others do the same and you should always be fine, but you run the risk all males do of meeting that nutter. I base this on my friend who has transitioned male to female with full surgery. Most unfeminine woman i know but gets on well with absolutely everyone in our street, and there are some real hard men. As for facial hair plenty of us did not need to shave regularly until our twenties, then when we did we so much wished we didn't I am going to give you a sub. Put the surgery off as i do know some one who started the process of transitioning through drugs and wearing clothes, and did actually revert back (fortunately intact). Best of luck from the U.K. PS you pass very well as a young male

      "Cis" is not a slur. It's a term used to describe people who are not trans. It is used because trans people are not an exception to "normal", and all cis means is that you're not trans. When you try to make that term seem like an attack on you, I have questions about how you see trans people in relation to "normalcy", which itself is a man-made concept. Besides, I think I'd rather have the "slurs" used against me relate to a matter-of-fact description of what I am than to be called "tranny", "trooner", "heshe", "faggot", or "groomer".

    • @theythemgae9025
      @theythemgae9025 8 місяців тому

      Cisgender is a term that has nothing to do with "sissy", I actually wonder if it may predate that notion. I don't know. I've been hearing the word and using the word cis for two decades and only just this week saw another man comment that cis and sissy sound similar. To me they very much do not. But that could be the accents I live around. You would have to do a fair bit of mental gymnastics to make the connection. I like in New Zealand, originally from UK so there's a lot of accents 😂. Also I'm speaking as someone who HAS ACTUALLY been called sissy as an insult / attempt at a slur. They are not the same. When you are actually called a slur you will know about it. It is horrible. Anyways cis is not a slur. When I hear it I just think "oh a non trans person, cool, got it." Or I think nothing at all. The vast majority of people do not care.

    • @Mel-wn9gb
      @Mel-wn9gb 8 місяців тому

      @@theythemgae9025 Just because a vast majority of people don't think or care about a subject, that doesn't mean the subject is not important or relevant. There's a reason that people have recently been labelled as 'cis' and it's not simply to describe the alleged state of being 'not trans'. That's not a definition or the definition of 'cis'. 'Cisgender' means we have a supposed 'gender' that 'corresponds' with our sex. The term is designed to normalize and naturalize the concept of 'gender' as though it's an innate aspect of all humans. It's not. It's literal sex stereotyping, which is sexism - an ideology, not a fact.

    • @Dawt_Calm
      @Dawt_Calm 8 місяців тому

      @ georgeharrison2795 Cis is not a term used to denigrate men. That seems like a very odd thing to say IMO. "Cis" is an antonym of "trans". The prefix "cis" comes from Latin, it means "On this side of". It's referring to someone who identifies as the same gender they were assigned at birth. Cisgender refers to both men and women who identify as the same gender they were assigned at birth. "Trans" is an antonym of "cis". The prefix "trans" comes from Latin, it means "across, beyond, through, on the other side of". It's referring to someone who identifies as a gender other than the one they were assigned at birth. Transgender refers to both men and women who identify as a gender other than the one they were assigned at birth.

      Those comments aren't weird, its a reality that many young people are facing because they're falsely told that they need to change their gender to find solace instead of being helped to work through the mental struggles. As multiple commenters have already said, transitioning is being pushed so heavily on people who are already in a vunerable headspace as is. To me, that's predatory. Call it "false concern", I call it sad.

    Damn the more studies I’ve been reading about medical transition as well as the psychology behind it, the more concerned I’ve become about the young people drawn into it. Idk but I wish you the best, I hope that you’re able to become neutral about and comfortable with your body at some point, and I think it’s important to acknowledge the reality that you won’t actually ever be able to “become” male as a female, and the vast majority of people do understand “men” as equal to “male”.
