I've only been in a Bell 206. The body on that thing seemed like foil, ESPECIALLY compared to the 222. Your right, that's much more like a car door!

In the ol 206 to get the door closed the guy in the middle has to lean forward while the opposite side has to lean all the way against window.breathe out and hope that's enough.lol

I was fortunate to be a Met Police Officer in the early 80's when the Air Support Unit had three Bell 222a as the fleet aircraft. I got to fly in one as part of my advanced driving course and had one of the best times of my life. I'll never forget the sound of those rota blades. Awesome.

before my new 505 was delivered last week i spent hours watching your videos. mine is a 2024 ihad only flown jet rangers and that was years ago, when mine arrive last week i was a head of the bell instructor on the displays and startup. thank you, when i finally swaw it i was impressed mine is a bright blue. wow. what a machine. my instructor has been here for 4 days now and im keeping him for the full 2 weeks. do not car eif he says im good to go, i want hime around till i feel confident. but? damn thing makes you look better than what you are.what a easy to fly whopper thingy. startup is simple. compared to the old jet ranger and the auto pilot? wow. that is a cool thing. never had one in a whopper before. so now im doing some gold leaf stripping on her. not a lot just enough to breakup all that blue. told the wife.... she is in competition with the new bird.she said figures lol . i named mine gertrude lol i have no idea why. might even put some x'd out Russian fighter jets on the door lol i out of all the planes i opwn this is b y far the best of the bunch, so now im selling my fixed wing planes. it is more convenient to use the helicopter. take it to walmart go shopping. i live in the mtns in northern central washington. i will not fly anything else. ever

I'm often wondering if someone, who can afford it, do some of the Airwolf Parts on it and do a WORLD TOUR with a 30min flight show. Thousands of people would freeze so hard seeing THAT Helicopter flying in front of them!... Airwolf is one of the most Popular Things that was ever designed, it is a megastar. Tail rotor has scissor blades just like ah - 64 helicopter.

Nice vid,but the helicopter has the wrong colour.Airwolf was painted in phantom grey and ghost grey,not black and white,and the tailrotor had red stripes ;-)but that´s still my fave tv vehicle...love it

Thanks again for such a great video and i am sure if you could change her more into Airwolf and would take your business into another level. Then a Huey Vietnam version (Tour of Duty) Then a Magnum Hughes 500 and so on. What a way to travel in your chosen TV icon Helicopter and maybe also get sponsors to do this as well. Maybe getting film work too. Tom Cruise next Stringfellow Hawke and a remake of Airwolf film fly's your Helicopter.

Thank you for this video and have seen the Lady flying around. What a helicopter to own and fly. So wanted to fly in one and to be able to own one looking like Airwolf would be be great to say. Having yours done in the same colours as Airwolf was a great idea. I am sure if you were able to transform her more into Airwolf you flights in her would have queue as long as the A3 at your door
