Just tried it after being very skeptical and oh my is it strong haha. Especially once you get that runaan's you getting the HB damage every 2 autos in a teamfight.

Never understood why no Riven player ever built Hubris 1st into bruiser like this before. Item has every stats that Riven likes, and give option to either stomp further, or coming back via picks, on top of very good component spikes in Dirk.

1/18 still win game.

I used to hate playing Morde into Gwen, but I realised morde can abuse lvl 1-2 much better than gwen, especially if you just dont eat her Q and get lvl 2 first to force a flash out of her with your E. Gwen does scale better and has a dash and true damage, but if put far enough behind with fundamentos and matchup knowledge it’s perfectly doable.

Is there a vid or something i can look for to get proper understanding on waves? i feel like most of the times i could take advantage by freezing but don't really know how to proper set one, i just find my self perma pushing and recalling after crashing every single game:(, great vids btw im learnign a lot !

I‘ve come back to lol this season after a few years and have watched many guides. Tbh not one of them was as insightful as this this video format, simple but effective. Good job!

Truth be told, it was a masterpiece early game with amazing macro later. It is not a build diff when u dive lvl4 enemy with lvl 6 riven. And we all know that wasn’t because u bought some lethality. Also we aware how good lethality items (even if it’s only 1 lethality item) are at snowboaling. With such advantage you could have build any ad item (and even some ap) and result could have been the same. I’m not saying, that this build is bad(I have a feeling that it only works in glass cannon comps like this and we don’t know, whether classic would have been better), but, as stated earlier sheer understanding of the game was defining factor. Great education on micro and macro. I’m sure we all took something from it. Thank you.

Hi i really like the way your videos are made! could you do one on how to play katarina in high elo?

completely unrelated to the video but you seem like a good player from your channel so i want to ask: should i play mid or top? i main mid but i’ve been slowly transitioning into top lane because i dislike mid lately for a lot of reasons (mostly because the lane just feels like push waves back and forth -> be second support) plus i feel like the champions i like in mid are either too hard for my skill level (hwei, sylas) or just not good (ekko). anyway, i don’t really like the mid lane role since season 14 started and i only like the champions, but i feel like top is better for improving my lane fundamentals and focusing on 1v1 plus the champion pool is pretty similar to the style i liked to play in mid (i mostly played melee mid laners like ekko, sylas, naafiri, pantheon, etc. and hwei was the first mage that i actually found fun). just curious on what you think without any context as a high elo player in general.
