Piece of art!
Thank you so much you’ve made my day
That musak was bloody annoying and doesn’t fit with you or what you’re doing.
👍👍👍👍👍👍
Cheers Man
Great video - nice to make something so premium looking with what you've (mostly) got lying around. I am keen to do this now.
Thanks so much Tim yes I only wanted to use what I had. I really like how it turned out. I’m hoping you make one to thanks for watching cheers
I’m going take a similar approach with a desk shelf (3/4 walnut euro ply) utilizing deco plumbers pipe for the feet/legs (black satin finish). Like you…I will not place the monitor on it…given I have a monitor armature that floats the monitor above the desk space.
Sounds great I would love to know how it turns out and thanks for watching
Well if you have the tools yea definitely!
Thanks very much for watching
Thanks Steve, A really practical video which has enthused me to crack on and make me own!
Thank you so much I’m really glad your enthused to make your own
Looks stunning! 🤩 Amazing project, enjoyed watching this video. Thanks for sharing with us.
Thank you so much I’m glad you enjoyed it
It can look great but it's too mcuh work to dissasemble for the cost of new cheap wood.
Thank you for the video, it was fun to watch you, unfortunately, I can no longer recreate something like this today, sitting in a wheelchair. Best regards, Rüdiger
Thanks so much Rüdiger I’m glad you enjoyed it. Take care of yourself cheers once again
Great video sir. I have played it a lot of times as I am trying to make one myself. But what are the thicknesses of wood that you used? Thank you very much for this contribution. Greetings from Spain.
Thanks so much glad you enjoyed it. The top is 18mm thick the middle shelf is 9mm thick but could be 12 mm and the legs are 25mm thick hope that helps
Thank you so much Steve
But why didn't you line up the tacks on the top band with the tacks on the box?
Haha yeh because I was a fool I realised after I made them
Master of art steve!
Thanks so much Jim
A great project that looks better than the product it's copying. I've been looking at wanting to use Rubio Monocoat Intense black on a project but haven't been able to find videos of anyone using it, so wasn't sure how the finish would look, thanks to your video I'm definitely going to be using it on my project.
Thanks so much David. Yeh I love Rubio intense black and the charcoal oil plus 2c combo it’s stunning you’ll love it
Nicely done. And well done that you credited Chris Salamone for part of the design.
Thanks so much
Could you share the 3d-printet parts at printables?
Hi yes this is the file I used www.printables.com/model/716101-desk-organizer-tray-grovemade-inspired
Impressive, sir!!
Thank you so much
I want one of those ❤❤❤
Looks great. I love the green desk mat/dark wood combo; such a classy colour scheme. I’m inspired to make my own now!
Thanks so much and I’m excited that you’re thinking about building your own. The desk mat was just a cheap one from Amazon and the desk top is a worktop from ikea
Beautiful work Steve
Thanks so much Stephen
Can we have meserment all about sir?
Thanks for watching the top is 46cm x23 cm an 18 mm thick. The middle shelf is 12mm thick The legs are 21cm wide 19cm high and 35cm thick Hope that helps
Lovely!
Thanks so much Lucy

Yep price of the shelf and postage to the UK !
Perfect...👋👋👋👋
Thanks so much
muy buen trabajo muy buen video , simplemente espectacular
Muchas gracias Jose
Lovely table, where’s the cash?
Thanks very much I’ve spent the cash on more tools
@@SteveBellCreates when it comes to glueing the strips together, how often do you encounter the wood bowing after getting glued, I to have a interest in woodworking, found me some pallets recently, thinking I can turn them into something appealing thus earning me some cash haha, that’s my thought
@@arlingtontrains7 hi I don’t really have that much problem with bowing the main thing is to keep the strips flat in the clamps good look with your build
You can use silicone baking mats instead of plastic bags. They are heat resistant, reusable, and washable.
Yes that’s a good idea it was all we had at the time thanks for watching
You need a CNC machine :)
I’ll save up for one 😂
👍👍👍🔥🔥🔥
Thank you so much
Excellent video and just love the toolbox! Knep it up Steve

Hey Steve, thanks for the shout out man. I promise, the exact same thing is going on here, not being able to figure out what to make, or the things that needs making is not video material 😆.
Hi Jesper your welcome yeh it’s a nightmare but I’m sure a creative genius like you will overcome that mental block
That unknown name for your router but:🎉 It’s referred to as a “Keyhole Router Bit”. 👍👍👍
Thanks Andrew I that makes so much sense
Brilliant as usual, Steve! Thank you!
Thanks so much Dave so glad you liked it
I love that you have Festool, Shaper Origin, some big CNC or laser or something behind you…and a succession of wristwatches from the dollar store! (Pound store?)
You’ve got to love a Casio the best watch ever
Great bit of storytelling and the the first 90 seconds was the best work you've ever done! seriously though it was a super video and an even better project.
Thanks Andrew glad you liked it and thanks for your great comments cheers it means a lot
Lovely knobs 🤩 all turned out bonnie & enjoyed the tunes too ❤
Thanks John glad you like my knobs
Great project Steve. Some times ideas are hard. We all go through dry patches. Glad you came out of yours. I need to learn to incorporate my laser, like you have to compliment my projects, instead of being the whole project. Have a good week in the shop!
Thanks so much yeh I’m trying to use the laser in a more creative way. Have a great week yourself and thanks once again
Beautiful work Steve. Very modern.
Thanks so much Martin
That's very nice. They have a bit of a Mr Men aesthetic but are very nice all the same.
Thanks I was thinking more like minions 😂
Starting is always the hardest part of any project, I'm sure many makers can identify with similar feelings!! Keep the videos coming... workshop tour coming soon? ;)
Thanks Chris yes your right starting is always hard thanks for watching. Sadly yes the workshop tour will be here soon😂
Great video. Great end results. Nice.

Nice hand plane in the background 😊. I really enjoy your format, it does help me limit my workshop procrastination
Cheers Thomas yes lovely hand plane!! I wonder where I got that from. Thanks for watch glad you liked it
If you're ever stuff for ideas, maybe you could try the SCRAPWOODBUILDOFF! nothing like a competition to get the juices following 😁
