I was literally sent a plastic ring from AlliExpress that was advertised as a gold plated ring. It was actually sent in the legit AlliExpress package. Posh wouldn't refund me.

And Poshmark does not care about scams..not one bit.

Poshmark has scam buyers also..who damage and make up bogus claims about items so they can get their money back .and Poshmark suggests to let them keep the item, and give them full refunds..I was a good honest seller with 11k followers and five stars..it took this blatent scam buyer tldor me to cancel my account..as the platform is not doing well anyway..eBay has become alot better with more buyers, real customer service etc.

Faith watched your video very early this AM and I just set up a Poshmark acct and the system said that I sold something. On my business email, Poshmarks or what I thought was a legit Poshmark email came through and wanted more verification before sending my payment. That was the beginning to hours of that email saying they had no account for me and they wanted my bank info. Well after an hour I noticed that my bank account had been tapped for $600. Called the theft proptection and it was refunded to me. Passwords changed, thought it was ok. NO WAY!!! This AM my bank acct was tapped again $900. So that's the end of Posh for me. Hi I’m contacting you because I just open my Poshmark account and think I was scammed but in a different way, someone wanted to buy my stuff but they contacted me through email and sent me funds that way but it wanted all my credit card information to accept the funds. Is that how Poshmark does it when you are selling your items??

It soubds to me a hacker just figured out your paypal. I would just put 2 step authentication and not use the same password and always have different passwords for different sites as safety measures.

How's that an odd username? It's 2024. You pretty much _have_ to add numbers at this point, because most usernames have been taken by now, especially on sites as popular as Poshmark.

Can you tell me what i should do . The seller i bought a purse from sent my package to the wrong person ,so she contacted the person she sent it to and she said she would send it to the post office. Poshmark had made a new label with my address so she could send me my package. Well she never dropped it off and stole my purse. How do i get my money back from poshmark. They are not responding.

Buy and sell using a credit card. Then the bank, not you, will usually be on the hook for a scam. I never use a debit card unless I want cash back at the supermarket.

There are a lot of scammers on Poshmark, sending to you messages asking for more pictures of your listing, to be sent to their email. I just reported them to the administration!

I listed a few items, somebody in Texas jumped on all the expensive items and wanted me to contact her in email, claimed she can't see the pictures, I told her the pictures display perfectly, then all of a sudden all my items disappeared? I have no idea what is going on there!

So you recommend to use a PO Box for shipping and buying?

I know this is an old video…..the first thing that caught my attention is that you paid with PayPal. I don’t PayPal bc they can hack you. I only sell or buy to or from established accounts with a history. Glad you got ur money back tho. 🙌🏻

I’m curious how they got your PayPal information? I had a woman that was interested in buying something off of Maria on Facebook marketplace and she said she would Venmo me the money then she asked for my email address which to me was a red flag because if I gave her that then you can put in the email address and act as if you don’t have the password and then your phone gets sent a code and my thought was if I gave her my email address she was going to try and hack into my email and asked me for a code that got sent to my phone which if I gave her that then she would’ve hacked my email. Venmo you never have to give email information. So then I looked at her Facebook account and so many messages said that they were scammed by her in the comments. So I’m curious if somebody asked you for a number that was sent to your phone and you gave them that number?

Hi Faith, Thank you for sharing your video, unfortunately I saw too late, I think. Yes, I am right this minute in the process of being scammed and not sure what to do. I am a baby at Poshmark and trying learn as much as I can. I did get that dreaded text, "send me more photos of the item having issues with my phone" yes, I also went as far as sending my address and phone number that she asked for. She said she was having issues with her secretary, because her secretary made the check for over a thousand dollar but she indicated that she would send me an additional $70 up front to hold the item and any other issues she's caused. She said the check would be coming from her company for a large amount and asked if I could just take out the payment for the item and the $70 she promised and send her the rest. Well, I received an envelope from a company that doesn't look like it went through any postal office and a very crooked shipping label. The person already text to find out if I received the check. I have not responded nor have I opened the envelope. My thoughts are to not answer anything from her and take the envelope to the post office and have them return it to sender. Any suggestions?

I'm a new Poshmark seller and also an addict in recovery for about 3 years now so I have seen a lot of crazy stuff whenever it comes to the extra mile people will run to get an extra buck so when I got the shipping label for my first few sales, I was honestly astonished and could not believe that the buyers address was that easy to get. Here it is, thank God I had the item to actually ship but what if I didn't! Did it not have the return address? Bc mine had it on there. I'll be changing my address to a p.o. box as soon as possible!!
