Fun fact, alliance raids in ffxiv feel like they take so long primarily because they are duty finder casual content. The vast majority of the players who queue into them are not rocking proper food buffs, don't use pots, and have no idea what their optimal job rotation looks like. You can really feel the clear time difference if you ever go into one with a premade compared to a DF group.

I actually like the first face he didn’t like. It’s the face used for the Merchant you meet at the start of ARR and look how decent they look. boilling take: 90% of msq was just erping as an amazon employee. therefore when your main story reaches that much of a teduim watching cutscenes becomes a punishment and therefore the story is not enjoyable. I recently finish stormblood (free trial) and my opinion never changed. the only thing I liked about the cutscenes is how cool my character looks and literally everything else is either confusing, cringe or boring. in conclusion ff14 story is overated and everyone gaslit themself into thinking that the serotonine hit they got at the end was due to the story and not due to edging 422 quests.

It only shows up for people who are around you when you do it though. If they load in after you do it, it won’t show for them. If you want a perma glowy weapon it’s time to do ultimates :)

Just . Take the AoE to the face and keep going. It won't kill you, barely even maims you.

You don’t need to avoid that AOE you’ll be fine the tank cut the pull short because you couldn’t keep up

Yshtola to me feels weirdly like... most... arked out character if that makes sense. Not in terms of "oh shes had so much growth since the start of the game" but rather, as a person she already knows who is she is and what makes her her. I think thats why a lot of moments we see of her that do stand out (to me at least) are moments speaking of her passed before we had met her. There is some room for change, cause it does seem like shes still embarassed by that passed and that could lead to some character growth. But unlike a lot of characters in 14 she doesnt really have moments to grow or shine because anything she does at this point is "oh thats just yshtola"

When I plaued FF14 on my server I was known as the Roegadyn Pirate. Mostly due to the fact I was the only male Roegadyn who had a really good pirate transmog.
