For that alone a well deserved thumbs up come up right away! 🙂 Although you totally confirmed the point of how to spoil a car in no time! Low quality tuning absolutely kills the value of a vehicle! Somebody help , When stopped the car is making tickling noises , when accelerating it stopped making noise , when i press full the gas pedal the car after 2.5-3k rpms starts to shaking, I changed coil and spark plugs and still have the problem!!

As a '08 9-3 2.0T aero estate owner it's nice to see this video. Still love it and it puts a smile on my face and others. It's practical enough with the kids. I have had very few of the issues you mention after 5.5 years and it has been very reliable. First real maintenance was this year with new springs/dampers and a new PCB for the key lock. The car has about 200k kms at this moment, so it has just been run in ;) I hope to get a nice convertible again like the sweet vector I had.

You cant do it like this! The tabs/clips is on the top side, you have to remove the vents and stereo! If you dont want to break something imho

I was told it is the vehicles self diagnostic not for turn off but for next time it turn on.

Mine came with 3 keys. 2 standard keys and a valet key. Most common problem, engine turns but car doesn't start (disconnect the battery, wait 10 seconds, reconnect and try again). Another goodie, the slide out cup holder locks in and won't slide out anymore (pull the dashboard apart and release it from the inside). Gear box problem, contact Saab dealer (crankshaft position sensor is failing). Fuel level sensor, ahh yes. GM used a float that dissolves or wears out (empty the tank and drop the fuel tank and replace the float). Stability module reports a problem when humidity is high. I haven't found a cure for that beyond avoiding puddles. Saabs eat low beam headlight bulbs. I get about 3 - 5 months on a Sylvannia H7. The owner's manual specifies Mobile1 motor oil. All cars with shoulder strap belts have wind up springs. The springs usually last 5 to 20 years, but eventually a new belt windup spring is needed.

For anyone wondering if this works with mold no the smell will come back right away use Lysol for that kills it not 100% but you will not smell it for a long time best believe also with Lysol similar trick but this time roll down the windows Turn on ur car max ac turn off circulation and have it where the car uses outside air now spray the outside vents I recommend a whole bottle for each vent Usually 2 vents by the engine Stay there until u empty the bottle out for each vent let the still with ac mod on for 10 min after emptying the bottle or bottles U can also spray the vents in the car not the whole bottle just a bit

sorry to say but this video is terrible. There are no plug and play units besides the blue power one… tho if you don’t mind doing some piggy backing you can cut some stuff on the waterfall and a small double din work properly, but you will still need to run the factory radio cause it controls like the gauges and AC system. You could also shove the old radio right behind the waterfall and keep it out of sight if you do decide to do that. I haven’t done this to my car yet but if I do I will make a video about it to maybe help out the Volvo guys who want an android/carplay radio

Thank you Neptvne. The instruction for moving the console back to expose the waterfall screws was pivotal. Made my day! I was stuck on a project to replace the shift blind - but it's done now.

Front subframe rusting out is a huge issue on the newer generation - especially facelift models 2008 and newer. The ECU getting too hot in the 2.0T models. I would put those up top as #1 and 2.
