Badd ass brougham bro! But as a painter myself, you probably don't want to tape up certain things, (moldings, handles mirrors etc) because with time the clear will start to peel in those areas. Either way bad ass build 🙌🙌🔥🔥🔥🔥🏆🏆🏆🏆

That is and interesting point of view about the military training. it makes a lot of sense. i was there at those parks. it was so dangerous. acctually, i never thought i would live this long, because a lot of us didnt make it. weather it was swallowing a small toy and choking to death. or being seriously injured by one of those park toys you mentioned. What you said makes a lot of sense. We learned to have the ability to work together for a common goal regardless of skin color, or disabilitys. We all had a code of honor amongst ourselves (the military didnt count on that happening.) We created our own army of every color, boys and girls both. (Yup, dont mess with a GenX woman either Snowflake Generation, They spit more venom then us GenX guys. I love you Ladies). We were able to Humbly organizing our personal strengths and weaknesses together to servive. -- , I happen to be white, but really im just another Gen Xer like all of you. im truly happy all of you are still around, Hmm.. maybe your right about that military thing, because if any of you GenX people needed my help, i would feel compelled to care and stand strong for my fellow GenX Americans. But in general, i want to be left alone. America is worse now then its ever been. If things dont change we are all doomed..... except us. GenX will just find a place in the forrest to make a fire and selter and hunt for food. no problem. Been there, done that. but i'll fight alongside my GenX brothers and sisters for one more battle. Im an old GenX Metalhead, sure, like old times again. . --We ALL went through it. We all lived in pain. Some of us died, some of us were seriously injured . i lost my eye in 1988 because of daily beatings from momma bear. (btw, Puck your sympathy. keep it to yourself). But thats ok. according to her im just a "good for nothing, worthless piece of shif" and i better "stop crying or i'll give you something to cry about". so, i guess i'll just "suck it up". wait, what mom? Somehow its my fault. LMFAO! Thats odd, i didnt take my eye out... how is this my fault? oh well, i better make sure i "dont disrespect my elders." lol. --btw, i Im glad you mentioned Timmy, "leave no man behind." its true, in life or death situations, none of the BS matters. HeyTimmy! you are welcome in my fort anytime... and so are all of you Gen X'ers. Welcome to my wooden masterpiece in the middle of the woods. and i have a carton of ciggerettes, and beer in my fort. i went to the store with a note that says "My son is buying these for me. keep the change. --Mom." lol, jk. goodbye, be safe.

At a park in Burbank Ca there was the most mad construction to play on. It looked like giant tinker toys on LSD. It was incredibly huge. Partly over sand, concrete even a fountain. I’m amazed I didn’t see more kids bailing off that thing. At a chili cook-off off of Bob Hope Dr I led a group of us through a water runoff tunnel. For some reason most of the kids turned back as soon as it got dark. Hours later there were police & fire & rescue trippin. I figure out they were looking for me. Once I knew that I went to an officer and said, “ya, I was the first in last out. I’m right here and I’m fine”. I got a whippin from that little stunt. But it was worth it. 😈

Spot on brother. I've been in the trades my whole life. I've pushed crews in supervision. Now I drive a Peterbilt pulling a step deck because I just want to be left alone. I can't babysit anymore. I see a lot of Gen X truck drivers. We nod, say how's it going? And stay out of each other's way.

F.A.F.O. Mf's. Do not wake the sleepin giant. Boomers know the monsters they created and every generation after us still depends on us. You don't want us to show up to any fight. WE WILL END IT, SWIFTLY. And then, we'll go listen to the best music ever created, from every genre. Some of us pray you don't heed these warnings. However, we could care less either way. See ya at the playground Brutha.

If i lived in your area sir, i would take you out for a drink, maybe go fishing. Back in our day we showed respect to our elders, or we got a asswuppin , take away today's generations electronics and made them pay their own bills and see how many would survive........remember when you were told to go outside and play but be home before the street lights came on......nowadays kids are couch potatoes suckling on mommy's teet looking for free handouts.........shame on them, 40 hours a week at a job to support themselves would do this generation some good. On my own since 17, married at 19, 40 years later with the same one, 4 grandkids, and still living with a one day at a time attitude, left foot , right foot, one in front of the other, dream on and carry on.......remember no one takes care of you but you......when you look in the mirror are you proud of what you see.😮

From the generation who grew up with neighborhood fireworks wars, who shot each other with BB guns, who also watched every game console that came out ever, every version of windows ever, don't play with us. We can figure out anything you put in front of us, we aren't the boomers. From dialing up Compuserv and Prodigy to AOL to Comcast to Starlink, we were there for it. We want to be left alone we don't want to meddle with Tiktok, in fact I think we are all getting tired of social media in general. Just leave us alone and forget about us again. EDIT: We are the ones who survived playing with lawn darts.

1966 here. Grew up tough. Outside. Ramps were used. Cowboys and Indians. No pads, no helmets, sunscreen, seat belts, parks with the round things, metal slides, monkey bars, etc and they don’t exist anymore. They don’t even exist anymore. No broken bones. No stitches. I’m getting hate for one tweet. They think we are not special and different. Did you pick your own switch? Church every Sunday. Bible. Girl Scouts too. We’d go to camp. I’m not scared either. Never went to the ER.
