This is it! This is the Start of our Pan-American Highway journey - Mile Zero - KM 0.0. We leave Tuktoyaktuk and head to Alaska on the Top of the World Highway. We cross back into the United States at the Poker Creek Border Crossing

After crossing into Alaska we hit up some Breweries!

Huge milestone video here, we start the Alaskan Highway in Dawson Creek, Yukon. It really feels real now, this is the beginning of our trek to the Arctic Ocean and our start of the Pan-American Highway. We stop by the Signpost Forest in Watson Lake and leave a bit of Tortuga there, and we see more wildlife and have an early morning visitor. Check out more on the Signpost Forest here: yukoninfo....

We are tourists in Banff, Alberta. It is high season in Banff and we take it on. We do the gondola and the town on one day and then 3 lakes the next day. We had planned and had Jasper National Park adventures booked but a nasty wildfire unfortunately took out half the town of Jasper and they canceled everything and closed the Icefield Parkway as well. It was for sure a bummer we didn't get to s...

Very nice 👍🏻!!!
We loved it here!
@@Beerbeachrepeat Looks very inviting for sure 👍🏻!!!!
Niiiice
Fantastic guys! Now the journey really begins! I noticed there was no wading above the waist. 🥶🧊
Nope. We were actually on our way out of town and just wanted to make sure we got in.
Congrats!
Thanks!! It was such an incredible drive.
Too bad the climate is acting up the last few years & we have been cooking BC & parts of Alberta & smoked out your trip ( 2021 was super bad with heat domes in the south of BC then the atmo river that shut down all access between BC & the rest of Canada for a week or so . Took out the Coquihalla Highway & Highway 1 through the Fraser Canyon out through to the Fraser Valley & the Lowery-Mainland & Vancouver .a little town called Lytton burnt down in the Canyon ) . But anyways if you like booze & beaches check out the Okanagan valley with Lake Okanagan & towns like Kamloops , Kelowna , Penticton etc. - Also Osoyoos that is almost right on the US BC Border . -- Oh & by the way the Canucks control Avalanches 😃
Steve, thanks for the rec’s. We had a great time in Kelowna when we were at the BC Overland Rally in July. It sure was warm there too. I found this on Google: The Canucks, along with the Sabres, are the two oldest teams in the NHL to have never won the Stanley Cup. The Avalanche have 3 cups since they were first a franchise in 95’. Sorry to say, no one can control The Avalanche.
@@Beerbeachrepeat yeah sorry about the kind of repeat to your reply to my first comment as I missed it - & yeah you don't have to rub in the no cup win lol - I have been a canucks fan since 1970 when they came in with the Sabres - have a great trip ..... the 2021 heat dome I mentioned killed 600 people followed a few months later by the Atmospheric Rivers in November - enjoy your day
Hey guys how’s it going . Yeah bummer about Jasper and the ice fields parkway . I did all that last year thankfully, I’m so glad I did , sounds like quite the mess and still is even though they are letting things open up again . Happy trails ! 👍🏻
You guys should do a B.C, Trip we have Vancouver Island , the Sunshine Coast , the Central Coast , Haida Gwaii another Island off the North Coast , Fraser Valley , Fraser River & Thompson River Canyons on Highway 1 , the Okanagan Valley that you can also reach taking the route past Whistler - Rain Forest on the Coast turns to a drier more arid Climate in the Okanagan then back to the rain forest in Yoho & the BC Alberta Border , then central & Northern BC where the AlCan Highway starts - 20,000 lakes . there is a reason we are called Beautiful British Columbia . -- hope you enjoyed your trip
It’s in the works! We had to go North first and then hitting up BC on the way South to Baja!!
@@Beerbeachrepeat cool you will like it .
Hey guys . How’s it going ? Great vid ! I removed my aux battery and installed an electronic device that keeps the start stop off , so the Jeep does not shut off at a stop , which is great . Yes get a small lithium jump start brick , they are very handy !! I’m camped on a very remote lake in north west Ontario. But yeah the aux battery on the Jeep causes all kinds of problems with the main start battery, best to get rid of it !!
Luckily we got a jump & haven’t had any issues yet. Yes, we will be purchasing a battery jumper when we cross through the states.
Glad you made it down the good ‘ole Dempster . Yeah she can be pretty dusty or muddy … take your pick . You will never guess where I am !!! ….. the spot where we met at that hiking trail head in Manitoba . I’m working my way back home to Ontario . Gonna spend a few days in my little bush camp in North West Ontario!! Where are you guys now ?? 😊
So cool you’re back at that spot. It was such a nice one. We are now heading South towards Baja. We just rolled in to Stewart. We need some sunshine & beach!
@@Beerbeachrepeat It’s really sunny and warm here unlike the rain when we were both at this spot . Baha will be nice for the winter 👍🏻
There are over 250,000 lakes in Ontario, constituting around 20% of the world's fresh water supply
It’s pretty incredible how much water we’ve encountered. Coming from dry Colorado, we love being by water.
It was awesome meeting you guys at the overland rally in Kelowna and getting a tour of Tortuga. FYI, the Kootenay Lake ferry is the longest free ferry ride in the world. Fantastic scenery. I hope you found some great beers! You said Yoho correct matey. Della Falls are the highest in Canada
It was so nice meeting you as well. We have found many great beers and are having the best time.
80+ % of Canada is crown land, each province should have an online crown land atlas, you could really take advantage of it with your jeep
We have loved camping on Crown Land. Thanks for the info.
@@Beerbeachrepeat And I love American crown land, Arizona. Free trade lol
Hey guys how y’all doing. So nice to meet you . Hope all is going well . I’m in the remote NWT off of the Nahanni Range Road . I went into the remote Nahanni Park Reserve, so remote it’s incredible, beautiful views !! Where are you guys now . Reached Tuktoyaktuk yet ??
Bill!! We are in Anchorage visiting with our kid for a bit. We will be headed down BC in September.
Great episode guys. Some very beautiful camping spots.
They are so many great spots traveling through Canada. We can’t wait to get to some warm water beaches in Baja.
Great to hear you are out and about. Enjoy the beer it was great to meet you guys in revelstoke at the lamplighter campground. Take care while in your travels.😊
Thanks so much! It was great meeting you both & seeing your awesome Jeeps.
Welcome to Canada!! Enjoyed the video :)
Thanks for watching!! We are loving Canada so much.
Welcome!! I’m out west near the Rockies. Safe travels
Thanks so much!! We are loving Canada!!
Thank you for visiting Canada, hope you have fun. As a home sick Canadian living abroad thanks. Come back
We have loved Canada so much. Everyone has been so welcoming.
Currently doing the South and North Canol road in the Yukon to the NWT , then the Nahanni Ranges back into the NWT pretty remote route , pretty awesome !!!!
That’s fantastic. Just left Tuk this morning.
About 100,000 lakes in Manitoba. Lots of beaches, nice beers. The mosquito is the provincial bird of Manitoba 😂
For real. They were brutal that night.
Welcome to Canada … 🇨🇦 eh !!! 😊
This mouse saga is epic. Glad you got him!
It was stressful. Especially when it went up into the bed. I thought our whole trip was over. Thanks for watching!
Hey guys nice vid !! Just went up to Watson Lake , I’m back down to the Dease lake area . Where are you guys now ???
Thanks for watching! We just went through Watson Lake here in the Yukon. So cool.
@@Beerbeachrepeat I was in Watson Lake yesterday.
Sure is beautiful up in the UP! Pictured Rocks is awesome! Thanks for taking us along on your adventure. And glad you evicted that stowaway critter!
Thanks for watching! We sure are glad to have it gone. Pictured Rocks was amazing.
I was in the UP over the 4th of July, absolutely stunning!
Right?! It was amazing. The Keweenaw Peninsula was our favorite part, or maybe Marquette, or maybe Copper Harbor. 😁
Pronounced the same as Sheboygan. :)
Thanks Abby!! Now we know.
Great episode guys. I followed Fiona and Fritz on the zoo’s UA-cam channel. Awesome animals. What a bonus to see the eclipse!
Thanks for the kind comment, David! Those hippos are the best aren’t they?! It was incredible to see them in person after following them virtually for so long! (Shannon speaking here 😉)
Great to meet you guys at Wilderness State Park (Burgundy Westy)! Hope all is well! Funny you mention Cheboygan... my wife grew up there and you got it right... it's pronounced "She-boy-gan". :) Safe travels. Cheers from Michigan!
It was great meeting you too!! One day I’ll have myself a Westy. Thanks for the help on the pronunciation. We absolutely loved that brewery. 1 of our favorites of the 140 we’ve been to in the last 7 months.
It was so awesome meeting you on the prairie, in the rain lol . I’m camped in the mountains of BC . I hope we meet again !! 😊
It was so great meeting you as well. I’m sure we will see each other on the road when we head South from Tuk. We are on Crown Land somewhere in SK right now.
Hey Bill, still in BC? We will be headed towards Prince George very soon.
@@Beerbeachrepeat Hey guys how’s it going I’m in the Terrace area right now . I’m going to be heading up the Nass FSR to Cranberry Junction on the Cassier (37) highway in a day or two .
Awesome,,,, great video guys,,, stay safe......
Thanks so much!! We are having the best time!!
Very nice. We did this in a rented 4 door JL sport with 33's a couple of years ago. 4LO and she walked right up.
It was such a good climb. We had so much fun driving the White Rim.
There are some relatively cheap camping areas over that way, the WMAs have camp grounds that typically are not expensive. I actually have a Gladiator with an Alu Cab Canopy Camper on it, the same color as y'all's and I someone in the Georgia Outdoors News forum took a photo of y'all and asked if it was me.
That is so crazy about the photo!! We Lea about the WMAs after we had already left GA for SC. We did use them in VA though so it wasn’t wasted info.
Nice work! And I do mean work. Thanks for checking out all those breweries for me.
We do what we can for you. You never know when you’ll. Be in the Tampa area…
Here to vote for more morning hair content!
Cool video. Shit music.
Appreciate the feedback.
Mae and I miss you! She watched the video too (kind of)! Ha
You know she watched the whole thing and was very interested!! ❤️ Mae might be our biggest fan!
Love Gulf Shores! We almost bought there instead of CR.
We think you made the right call with CR!
I dont have an rv but my friend has one and he offered me to come live with him, hes a texas resident. can i sign up for the escapees club and get a texas drivers license then buy an rv later in the coming years?
For sure. You don’t need an RV to sign up. It does help to have a vehicle to register in TX. We registered our Jeep Gladiator.
Hey, me and my cousin saw y’all on March 16. We were waving in front of you.
So cool! I waved back! Thanks for reaching out.
Was she SO scared??? 😂
Yes!! You can see her hiding behind the Jeep.
The vlog I’ve been waiting for! So awesome meeting yall at Muses! Hope you enjoyed New Orleans!💜💛💚
Okay. Questions. Why Texas? Taxes? Second, I would think you’d have some kind of emergency jump program, second battery thingy. No plans for that? Also mouse? Just like a real house. ❤
Texas because it was easy. It was between Texas, Florida, & South Dakota. We like Texas. Yes, we have plans to buy a self jumping battery. And finally yes, stupid Mickey liked the taste of our wires.
Y'all gonna be at Southeast Adventure Vehicle/Overlanding Expo this weekend? It is in Starke Florida.
