my theory is diffrent. They simply want us to use all of our crystal storage. So many things happen at once: Kyrotech Bundle which almost everyone buys - almost 1.4k crystals This malicos pack - of course tempting, so they catch people off guard (thankfully mine is 7*) bonus drops - many people don't track the forums or went wildly on refreshes because of the potencial - which we all now know the droprates are awful (but hey they achived their goal. Crystals gone, carry on) But you may ask why they want that? The answear is simple - to have less people aquiring Dengar's ship f2p. This is also big crystal investment and potencially Marauder level impactful ship. So people start spend to buy packs to not miss out on fleet arena where we all know is the biggest crystal income. Younger shards still doesn't have many leviathans so for those who will have executor but no Punishing One will get biggest penalty. Less crystals income so eventually - spend money to get this ship. Thats just pure speculation, but we all know that they dont make money from chase events. This may be attempt to earn at least some revenue.

I dont have zetas for anyone anyway much less relics to spare. Even if i did this pack it wouldn't help. Just another conquest toon stuck at g8

The reason they did this is they did it for my money. I unfortunately slacked off during Malicos conquest so I’m only 150/330 but I have UFU team at Relics and now have shin Hati and they want the rest of my money to finish my team

If they sold a pack like that for Darth Bane, it would be a BIG hit.

Hello Phatphil, I'm just curious. You made a great farming guide and there you talked about Old Ben and Farmboy. You told to farm them in cantina, not to buy them with MK1 Raid, because in the start you need more gear than stars. So, the question is, have you farm them from cantina, farm them with MK1 Raid currency, or mix it dependent on your guild and income from raid? thanks and Wampa loves soda! 8M GP. Kyrotech are by far my biggest bottleneck. Not pure free to play, but I am very intentional about when I spend money (for example the bundle to get the old galactic rep toons for the new raid has paid off). I probably end up spending 60-70% of my resources (campaign energy, store currencies, etc) on kyros because I have so many partially geared teams, and many lifters and conquest characters sitting on the bench behind 400-800 kyro each. Character shards are basically not an issue, because I farm shards wide and the only characters I don't have at 7* are the ones I do not really care about. For me, accelerating kyros would move the bottleneck to signal data, but at least I could get some of these toons/teams geared to R3 so I can use them with datacrons and to satisfy Conquest feats. It would also speed my my GL farms (I have 5 so far).

I dont know what game you are playing but with 15 extra zeta upgrades a year I would still be starving for zetas. There is like 30 zetas I would love to apply rn and more coming every week😂😅

I'm coming up on two years played and I'm 7.7m gp. A lot of that is inflated by a load of characters that are sitting at like g8/9 and having almost every ship in the game farmed. The amount of my roster that I s actual useful gp is a much smaller number.

They just need to make characters that don't require as much kyrotech.

Cg need to find ways to engage midgame players more. 1: A benefit for everyone: sandbox mode. Gives players some fun. A break from the grind. Both players choose their prize for participating (afew zeta or kyro ect) 2 battles a day. Turn off datacons so theory crafting is irrelevant. 2: create a mods pack for when new characters are unlocked. Call it the "ok-ish mod pack" containing 6 health or offence mods at 5a for the character.

Accelerate SHIPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and give Single data and omis in future

I know what I’m about to say will “benefit” late game players, though I’d argue it will help midgame players a lot more. I think they need a cheaper way to get carbonate circuit boards and bronzium wiring. I go through them faster than I do signal data and am often farming them. If whales are like you and have 5000+ Kyros, then I’m sure they have enough mats for the scavenger that they wouldn’t really get as much of an advantage as compared to a midgame player. I suggest that CG should continue to have an expensive currency option like they do now with the raid mk2 currency be offset by a really good inexpensive mk3 raid currency option. It would give us midgame players a really good use for the mk3 currency and allow us to relic up our characters faster than at present. Over time I’ll be relicing more characters faster than those whale accounts which will allow me to catch up.

I'd love any raid change. Short of making a guild of only newbs, there is NO reason to do the Rancor or AAT. Then because the featured raid is really the only one worth bothering with. You have small guilds going from Sith which is designed for ~g12s to one with specific units often at relic levels to get even box one. So either keep on Sith while chasing raid, or just screw over guildies cause they don't have Hutt/OR for a Kryat stepping stone. Idk about the old old raids but for Kryat can maybe open it to all characters but still give major bonuses to the lore factions?

You made a HUGE point with the mk3 currency cause yeah I buy aeromagnifiers. Problem is I'm not DOING ANYTHING with them! I need mk2 currency VERY BADLY CG cause that's where the g12 gear is that I need MOST!

I agree with the raid analysis, such a waste of content. It would open up new communities because your strategy could be to always fall back to the speeder bike or kryat dragon raid to build up for the new raids. So to be efficient you would build rosters around your guild type.

for the cantina battles is it worth only farming the battles that require 8 energy instead of the 16 or would the higher energy cost increase the droprate of zetas?

I would like one day per two weeks or one week to have 100% drop or x2 drop for hard node of both ships and Light & dark. It can be random single node from either ships or L/D. imagine for new players spamming 3x a single node with 100% drop for single shard thats 15 shard for a total of 75 Crystals on refresh this alone would help haste on the farming mandatory teams. For me as a f2p speeding up on foundation of the acc would allow me to focus on my favs units instead of spending months one a single or two mandatory teams. If it is X2 drop the rng would still be in play and would promote even faster promotion of heroes/ships for those who are lucky. I just don't want to spend 2 months on a single unit like i did with Captain Rex (old).

Depends on the remaining Ahsoka reqs too. I'm personally going with Ahsoka. You can make a few teams out of her reqs, and will have most of the raid units ready well before raid drop. Baylan you can easily farm in between.

Thanks, phatphil! Only question is, does one need the 330 shards of a character or the 7 stars so the game considers you can get the extra drops? Scrybe suggests you can get both shards and extra drops if you have like 400 shards of a character but he is not 7 stars yet.

I've opted to only do mod and cantina energy. Cere and 9th Sister too far off 7 star to warrant it (and I still have other farms to do)

Still not heard any one say what's on my mind. Ahsoka doesn't have anymore darkside requirements but what if baylon is neutral and needed for gl ahsoka. I doubt it but it's far from impossible.

Definitely Baylan as he is more accessible for the majority of the swgoh community as I would guess the relic 9 for ahsoka could be very hard to obtain.

pre watching the video, at the current moment, with us knowing half of ahsoka's reqs, I'd argue baylan first, you get great mothers NS out of it, which currently is amazing (even DC aside it's decent), and you also get the core of baylan's team itself, whereas with ahsoka it's a lot steeper of requirements with over triple in total (altho, baylan might end up being an ahsoka req and ending this whole discussion lol)

Level cap won't do much BTW, Scuba ran the numbers of a level 90 or maybe 100 increase for wicket on the forums a couple months ago and it did nothing really the purpose of increasing cap was to unlock new gear tiers as far as meaningful stats increases go
