A lot of you complaining, saying this sucks, and deloused is the only thing worth a shit. As people and they as musicians, we must evolve. We have no choice but to grow and mature. If they had continued to play the same shit, I'm sure you would also have criticized them for never changing their style. The fact is that all of their albums are distinctly different and I personally can't choose a favorite.

It's not that everyone else pretends they don't. It's that they don't, and you just suck at telling the difference. No one is saying they're better than Zeppelin (well, except maybe stupid people). on their next albums, juan, marcel and cedric will all get creative freedom on the songwriting process. which basically means, the mars volta we once knew will probably never be the same. Good thing we got Deloused, frances the mute, amputechure, and octohedron on discs forever though.

Thats retarded. They dont sound exactly like any other band. the closest thing to TMV I can think of is King Crimson. Not Led Zeppelin.
