Zechs Marquise - Chase Scene Full HD
Chase Scene from Our Delicate Standed Nightmare.
Zechs Marquise formed in El Paso, Texas during the spring of 2003 when brothers Marfred and Marcel Rodriguez-Lopez came together with childhood friends Matthew Wilkson and Marcos Smith. The group soon named itself after a popular Japanese anime character and hit the studio to record its first album during the late summer months of 2004. They have a little bit influences of Omar Rodríguez López, but they are Progressive Rock.

    You will never be able to pin Mars volta in a box, that's the point. No genre describes them accurately

    A lot of you complaining, saying this sucks, and deloused is the only thing worth a shit. As people and they as musicians, we must evolve. We have no choice but to grow and mature. If they had continued to play the same shit, I'm sure you would also have criticized them for never changing their style. The fact is that all of their albums are distinctly different and I personally can't choose a favorite.

    I think octahedron is better than deloused. There, I said it.

      I think is prettier... More melodic and mellow. Both awesome, but deloused have way more rage.

      Absolutely, it's my favorite album of all time. I Love concept albums. Octahedron is a bit too pop for my sake. There are a few gems, though. I adore Since We've Been Wrong, Cotopaxi, With the Twilight As My Guide, and I kind of enjoy Desperate Graves sometimes. Aside from those tracks I can't stand the rest.

    Mars Volta is the modern-day Mars Volta. I've yet to successfully pin their style to any one band... though I can successfully pin them to shrooms and acid.

    It don't matter, man! Do fucking hear that voice?! Dam! This band is soo amazing! they're music actually give s me the chills & makes me feel high... if you just lay & listen...it'll take you on a crazy trip....My mind becomes so out of worldly, so zoned...into a land of imagination...they have such a mystery to they're music! & the music is insanely enhanced when loud, and add extra Bass...Oh, fuck yeah!

  • @FZmustacheFZ
    @FZmustacheFZ 12 років тому

    It's not that everyone else pretends they don't. It's that they don't, and you just suck at telling the difference. No one is saying they're better than Zeppelin (well, except maybe stupid people). There is no better or worse. But to say The Mars Volta is Led Zeppelin is absolutely fucking ludicrous.

    on their next albums, juan, marcel and cedric will all get creative freedom on the songwriting process. which basically means, the mars volta we once knew will probably never be the same. Good thing we got Deloused, frances the mute, amputechure, and octohedron on discs forever though.

  • @johnnyscifi

    Thats retarded. They dont sound exactly like any other band. the closest thing to TMV I can think of is King Crimson. Not Led Zeppelin.
